I am a baptized witness for more than 18 years, and still say that is a little intimidating to do this work, but nothing will stop from doing such work. First of all I do it for the love to our creator Jehovah and second of all of the love to those in need,. “all sorts of men should be saved.” (1 Timothy 2:4) However, I perform my ministry not only out of a sense of duty but also out of compassion. If we feel deeply for people as Jesus did, our heart will move us to do all we can to continue sharing the good news with other. And beside in Matthew 28:18,19 and 24:14 makes it clear what Jesus wanted from us.

I also agree that putting this message in a open forum is not a proper thing. Some people with not good intention will try to hurt you or someone else.

The better you are at doing something the more you will enjoy it.

So

The more you go out, the better you get, the better you get, the more you enjoy it.

Ask a pioneer in you congregation.

Watch a toddler learn to walk, they keep getting up every time they fall.

Pretty soon they are running.

Yes, if you miss a week or two, that first time again can be difficult. That's when holy spirit really helps.

you should be afraid because many people hate Jehovah's Witnesses. Door to Door is quite an invasion to some people. Find out the truth by reading the bible, not the NWT because it has been changed to meet JWs purposes. Anything in brackets has been added. Stop preaching your lies.

hi. it is scary going to the door, having the door slammed in your face. you don't know who is behind the door, because someone could be nasty to us. but remember we have Jehovah and Jesus Christ and the Angels behind us. remember that they don't know us. it is Jehovah that they are turning there backs on. each time I go to a door I say a prayer to Jehovah and Jesus Christ. that is why we go to the doors with another brother or sister so that we can have help at the doors. remember people will answer you here and say nasty things about us. but don't listen to them. don't listen to danny, he turned his back on Jehovah and Jesus Christ. people who turned there backs on Jehovah will say nasty things about us. keep up the good work. work with different brothers and sisters this way you get to know each other. we are all doing this in 235 lands. going to the Kingdom Hall since 1989 and a sister since 1990. and I would never turn by back on Jehovah and Jesus Christ. they are my best friends

Asking your question in an open forum is not a good idea. If you want to know anything about Jehovah's Witnesses, there should be a Kingdom hall in your area where you can get all your questions answered to your satisfaction.

For me going door to door at first was REALLY hard, because no one wants that one door that is slammed - say a little prayer..it helps.
To push myself over it I auxiliary pioneered for one month. It was FANTASTIC!!!! When the day is done, you know Jehovah is smiling at your effort. Congrats on publisher!
Fell free to contact me for more encouragement!

I used to be a Jehovah's Witness, but left that and finally found home in the Catholic Church. Why do I write this? Because I still live with the scars that came from being a Witness. I have only found true healing and peace in Christ's Church. I write this because from experience I'm telling you the Jehovah's Witnesses are not the right path for you if you want the truth of God.
