Maybe you should leave him alone. Jesus christ, maybe not everybody wants to be as lame and ignorant as you seem to be.

Leave him alone or you will lose a friend. Try to accept the fact that not everyone believes the same as you and as much as your religion seems true to you, whatever he believes seems true to him. You will not change his mind by trying to force your beliefs on him and harassing him about his disbeliefs, you will only annoy him and disrespect him even up to the point that he no longer wishes to be your friend. Is that what you want?

Live and let live. That's the best you can do.

Don't. There's a 50/50 chance here that YOU are the one who's wrong. If he doesn't try to convince you that god doesn't exist, why should you try to convince him that he does? And your friend knows all the cute little religious stories, I'm sure. Everyone in the US does. That doesn't mean that he'll believe them, thankfully.

Your constant pushing and nagging is driving him away from God. You need to let it go and pray that he sees the light in his on time. Pushing God on someone with different ideas is why others dislike Christians.
Is he really your friend or are you trying to earn points for saving a soul? That question you should be asking yourself. Don't want to be harsh but you need to seriously look at your motives and how you are ruining the friendship.

Turn down foolish and ingnorant questionings knowing they produce fights. You need to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping yourself restrained under evil. Instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed as perhaps God may give him repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth. You, however continue in the things that you learned and hopefully by your acts your friend may listen.

Air is quite common. There's nothing special about it. There are similar gases all over the universe.

Aesthetics are irrelevant. Just because something looks pretty doesn't mean there has to be a god.

You are mistaken in the assumption that it has to be a WHO that "made" anything...

Furthermore, things are only wonders to those who are ignorant.

You should just respect his believes. I know how frustrating it can be to hear someone say "there is no God" especially when you've been taught the opposite your whole life, but you can't just make someone believe there's a God if his heart isn't really into it.

Give him a good, easy to read ,Bible and challenge him to read it or read it with him. Ask him to listen to some good preachers. The Bot radio network has many good preachers on it everyday. Write him a letter stating the who, what, and why you believe. Give him the letter and ask him to read it when you aren't around. A letter will afford you the opportunity to make your points clear, without interruption, and without argument. Pray about it.

I understand that waterboarding is a good technique. Just tell him what you want him to say and if he doesn't say it, then do the old waterboard. It works great for the CIA and it's cheap, leaves no physical scars, works quickly, what more could you ask for. If God hadn't wanted you to use waterboards to convert the infidels He wouldn't have made waterboards.

Everything seem useless because it is.

It's not your job to make someone believe.

If you truly value your friendship, you'll accept your friend. If your friendship is predicated on your ability to convert him, then it's not a friendship, but a prosletyzing project.

If you wish to show people how you believe, live an exemplary life. Pushing your faith will only push a friend away.
