what do you think of it?
I am not religeous, many of my friends are , but its a subject we try to ignore for certain reasons.
WHat do you think is religeon? and why do people go so far because of it?

I don't have the proof, w/o a shawdow of a doubt, not saying that. Just pretend along with me. My question is if I am right and Genesis is true that what ramification would this have? How would it impact you or change your life and views?

Please no stupid answers like, "There is no proof cause there is no God." Not the issue.

His DNA would have been a mixture of Mary's and what?
If they did a test on the turin shroud, they should be able to get some of god's DNA? Even the immaculate conception must have donated an egg containing DNA. Yes, this was too advanced for the bible inventors, wasn't it?

I'm a devout believer in Christ, but I've never had personal experience with this, and I'll admit that it freaks me out. I have seen God work miracles and I believe in spiritual gifts, but I'm rather suspicious on this one. What do you know and think about it?

Did you know that the original language of the books of the bible where it mentions Jesus has brothers and sisters that the word of "cousin" wasn't in use?

And many times all those who followed Him were allowed in His family as brothers and sisters.

Also, the word "until" you read in your english version of the Bible did not have the same conotation in its original language. ("until she gave birth" or something like that is used to prove she had children w/joseph)

Why must I point out, again, that many scholars believe that James was a cousin.

The Bible is explicit, when she concieved she had never "Known" a man.

Joseph may have thought of her more of anothers wife.

does anyone know the relationship between atheism and the atheist's lack of a father/male role model growing up?

I heard this question posed in college awhile back and wondered. Apparently there is a correlation between atheists and being raised without a father or being abandoned by a father. Interesting, wondered if anyone had ever heard that before. (And I'm NOT asking for "What kind of a god would allow child abuse and war and blah blah blah...")

WE all know that according to the Scriptures we have all sinned and will continue to sin. But if your a true christian you can understand that Jesus would not kill in self defense! But You or I would kill to save our own lives, Which is the most common response to such a threat. So why do we, as a predominantly christian country, Kill and murder people who are not a threat to our lives but maybe to our way of LIFE. How could Adam and Eve know that it was wrong to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, without the knowledge of good and evil (which they only obtained when they ate the fruit? Even God telling them wouldn't be good enough because they wouldn't have any reason to believe he was good and that what he was telling them was correct. If so, how can they be blamed?

Please don't answer with 'it didn't happen', I know that, I just want to understand the philosophy behind the story.

the wall was in blue glittery writing and it said something like "God is in control, God will get you through, God's reason for everything..God will bring it back... there was more writing in the dream however i started to become very analytical like i am in reality and started to question how it got there...after in the dream i got of bed and went for a swim in the most beautiful pool it was huge and the water was very clear i went for a swim ( in reality i can't swim) I went for one full circle for in the pool my head was above the water though because i didn't want to get my head wet....The water was perfect to me i came out of the water and I dried myself... Putting those kind of things, on a site like this, that children can axcess, is illegal, a federal offense, a felony charge, and can be considered, in some states, mine inculded, considered an offence that will put you on the sex offender regisrty for up to 10 years. I know these are just people looking to get a rise out of us, but it is a legal and serious matter.

Report them for their OWN good, before someone makes it a bigger issue for them, ok?
