Way I see it, if I was born Son of God and knew that my father (God) existed and went on a great journey to be loved and persecuted by thousands. To spread a message that didn't require faith as I 'Knew' the truth. Where's my test? If I had a choice of a few years of pain for an eternity of joy or a few years of joy for an eternity of pain I know what I'd pick.

Sure he felt pain and had it bad. But more so than those dying in third world poverty today?

So my question is psychologically Did Jesus have it easy?

What are your opinions on Televangelists? Have they truly helped anyone?: Or do they just give the rest of Christianity a bad name?

If they have helped someone you know, please share!

In the Bible does in not state that we christians are suppose to tithe off of every first increase. Who believes if you want to reep a Harvest you must sow a harvest? for tithing we should not question Gods Word and far most that tithing is an act of obedience and we must be a good stewart of what we have in order for God to give us more Correct or Incorrect?

Throughout the ages humans have looked to the heavens and wondered, ‘Where did we come from, and where are we going?’ But will we find those answers in the stars, or in ourselves?"

I see the word "receive" all over the place, as a gift from God, but nothing at all about accepting our faith. If it's just given, how can you "decide" not to believe if you can't help it? "Receive" doesn't have to mean issuing a receipt. If you find the word "accept" in the Bible, I'd like to get some scripture proof of how man gets the opportunity to rip out the new heart that God Himself has given us.

Christians who are left behind ? Please read further to completely understand the question.
Clearly God is going to draw a line somewhere....... . . and many who 'think' they are going.. ... . . will still be here .

As a Christian, have you considered the possibility that you may be on the other side of the line ??
It's not a matter of pure faith for me, it's a matter of being humble enough to know that maybe I won't be worthy of the exodus .

What do you think will happen with those who are left-behind, but yet 'thought' they were leaving ???

that says Jesus was descended from King David through his FATHER JOSEPH. A complete contradiction.

Nowhere is the Virgin Birth dealt with in the rest of the bible in fact in Acts it is clearly said that Jesus is of the SEED of David. By saying SEED it is obvious they mean he is of royal blood on the male line.

Is it possible that the Virgin Birth meant something other than physical Virginity?

He said himself that he is God's son and that the father is greater than he is. He also said that no one has seen the father at any time. He said that he was a mediator between God and man. He said that he didn't know things that only his father knew. He said many more things that teach us that they are two separate life forms. This contradicts the definition of The Holy Tinity by the catholic church, after all they are the ones that invented this term and its definition and doctrine. It is never mentioned in the bible.

A social work master’s student at Southern Connecticut State University, says his study has suggested what many progressives have probably suspected for years: a direct link between mental illness and support for President Bush.

Mr. Lohse says his study found a correlation between the severity of a person’s psychosis and their preferences for president: The more psychotic the voter, the more likely they were to vote for Bush.

Yes I know, "a correlation" is not a proof and the correlation between Mr. Bush and Fundamentalist Evangelicals does not cast doubt on the mental status of either.
Or does it?

When atheists such as myself ask for proof, believers - Christian, Muslim, whatever - always cite some rubbish from their holy books as proof. When will they realise that this self-referencing proof just doesn't cut it? Is it because they think we are as gullible as they are?

" Magic Door " ??

What did the words to the opening song mean ?
Forgive my spelling but it sounded something like this - ' a room zoom zoom, a room zoom zoom, gilly gilly gilly asenfree', come through the magic door with me, and see all the wondrous things to see'.
