A social work master’s student at Southern Connecticut State University, says his study has suggested what many progressives have probably suspected for years: a direct link between mental illness and support for President Bush.

Mr. Lohse says his study found a correlation between the severity of a person’s psychosis and their preferences for president: The more psychotic the voter, the more likely they were to vote for Bush.

Yes I know, "a correlation" is not a proof and the correlation between Mr. Bush and Fundamentalist Evangelicals does not cast doubt on the mental status of either.
Or does it?

.Just a brief reply here. A single study is seriously no proof of anything with respect to Fundamentalist Evangelicals such as myself (who didn't vote for Bush). To even make that assertion, you'd want to show the data. You'd want to know something about the sample group and what was used for a control group. It would quite logically have to be demonstrated over a long period of time with regard to those who were psychotic and their tendency to vote for presidents like Bush. My experience with the mentally ill leads me to believe that one can't necessarily believe what they are saying due to their mental infirmity. Therefore the more psychotic, the less invested in reality and the less capable of giving an answer that is truthful and sincere. In other words, the study could be skewed depending on how the questions were worded and what tone was used. Someone who is mentally ill may be tricked into giving the answer the researchers want to find

In reading the Forbes 400 list of richest men in America and seeing the fabulously wealthy Evangelist preachers who do nothing to help the poor it boggles the mind. They have fleets of jets and multimillion dollar mansions with gold faucets.
That Tammy Baker's estate was out of sight.
Why people believe that giving money to rich people gets them into heaven is beyond me. They are not even moral.
One guy on here mentioned that these religious organizations helped the poor. That is a job, if one tenth of their wealth was to go to the poor the article said there would be no more poor, not just in this country but the world. The Catholic Church is famously wealthy. These religious organizations have so much money and it was contributed to help the poor I said that it and give it to the poor. That is what it was contributed for.
I couldn't believe the wealth in these religions from Jews to muslims. The Christians are way out of sight. All tax free.

maximum of it is from being sensible yet bored. Procrastination will come from you no longer feeling thoroughly fulfilled in what you're doing. something seems to stem from ego and/or have confidence themes in individuals. D.
