Why do you feel you possess the knowledge that deities do not exist? How is lack of "proof" proof of anything? Most importantly, why does Atheism make more sense to you than Agnosticism? Try not to answer with "God doesn't exist, that's why" because that's too similar to the Christian retort that "God exists, that's why". I'm just trying to understand why you would rule out any one possibility.

Claiming to "believe" in evolution, like it was a relgion, is not what I am referring to. I am asking what impact on ones political identity does a thourough understanding of evolution create?

In my mind, it clearly would push someone towards the right, I dont see how it could not. After all, if religion is a farse, then why constrain the necessity of "survival" the pacifism of Christian morality which is based on a farse? Why love your enemy, as the left does? Arent leftists mostly Christian?

As Nietzsche advised, I would throw away this "slave morality" which slows human progress and create my own, more rational moral code. Like for example: Peace is always in the interest of the community so long as the policy or means doesnt iteself create significant danger.

Leftist morality is derived from a noxious blend of Christian morality, Marxism, and weakness. To truely understand evolution is to vomitt at the very thought of such a view.

PRAISE AND FELLOWSHIP FOR GOD

Gathering in a group to worship and talk.
Togetherness for God is the right way to walk.
Singing and praising in the Lord's name.
Loving God is not a game.
For if you love him you should with your all.
Sharing happiness with your friends and family is right on the ball.
Reading the Bible, praying, games and more.
Doing things for God should not be a bore.

THE LOVE OF GOD

God's mercy is great; for he forgives.
Jesus died on the cross; yet still he lives.
Being born again is a blessing free from disguise.
Fellowship, prayer, the Word, and Heaven is the prize.
By God's grace shall we be set free.
Giving thanks and repentance should not make us flee.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Follow and you shall be near it.
The love of God for all his creations.
Spread the word throughout the nations.

I wrote these in 2004, I am not a Christian now but I still believe in Jesus. My religion believes that all religions are of God (the ones that believe in God).

Last Christmas I couldn’t make it to my sister’s because I had a knife pain in my stomach I almost had to go to the emergency room. This happens every holiday because this ghost…I know his name but when I say it, it gets worse around here, sabotages every happy event for my kids and I. The story goes that the daughter that lived in my house wanted to have children bad. She moved to Arizona and when her husband said no way to kids, she moved back to Minnesota to live with her parents while the divorce was pending. She went out on an early morning walk and a paperboy murdered her. I think the father is really PO’d he never had grandkids and when ever a holiday comes around he ruins it somehow. Tonight we lit the tree all decorated and I came up to the computer room and it looked like blood was everywhere. A RED PEN EXPLODED. Has anyone ever had a pen explode on them? I just cleaned it up and thought I would ask the question about this….thank you and advice would be much appreciated!

Everyone I know tells me that I should start going to church again, even though I tell them that I'm a spiritual and religious person every day, at home. I say prayers, read the bible, other religious works, and say my rosary. I'm Catholic, and used to love going to mass, but they have drastically changed the way they say the prayers now. They used to chant them, now they're sung to guitar. In Mattew 6:6 "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward the openly." Isn't it okay to have a relationship with God at home? Why do people that go to church try to make me feel like that's not enough, when I feel very religious and can quote the bible, too?

Obey or you will fall into damnation. Isn't most of what is said a form of fear tactic to keep people in line, in the same state of mind, blinded by the light.

Either being naked was always wrong and man didn't know it or it was never wrong and man is deluded enough to think it is.

Which is it?

It seems that according to Christianity being naked became evil only after eating of the Tree of Good and Evil.

This doesn't make sense. How can the same act in the same conditions be good today and bad tomorrow.

Did it have something to do with the alignment of the planets?

Every year on Christmas my children and I light special candles to remember the lost loved ones that are no longer with us to share the holiday. I wrote a prayer a 5 years ago, and have lost it, so I need help. Does anyone know any good remembrance type prayers for Christmas time or can someone write one for me. I have tried writing one and nothing seems right. I want something that honors our loved ones and also remembers the reason for Christmas, it should have a place either in it or at the end to say the names of our loved ones. I want something consistent we can use every year and something my children can pass down a a good tradition to their kids
