Knowledge of good and evil. Are they illusions?

Question

Either being naked was always wrong and man didn't know it or it was never wrong and man is deluded enough to think it is.

Which is it?

It seems that according to Christianity being naked became evil only after eating of the Tree of Good and Evil.

This doesn't make sense. How can the same act in the same conditions be good today and bad tomorrow.

Did it have something to do with the alignment of the planets?

None of it makes any sense.

You are permitted to stone adulterers, now it is illegal.

You can beat a slave to near death, but now you can't have slaves.

You can kill disobedient children, today it is considered murder.

God apparently wants to keep us on our toes. He likes flipping things around every few thousand years or so I guess.

Let us scratch our heads and wonder what is this about?? Is there perhaps a truth here, a message from one who understands better than we do because that one has no masks, has been watching for some time and who wishes us well.

Assuming the above then how does one approach this question.????

Once man did not know the differance between good and evil ??or man was deluded into believing that evil existed,??? or man understood that man had something about himself that was evil, ??? or something we have not yet thought of.!!!!!

Certainly it must be true that if at one time man walked around nude talking to God as a friend and then ---when this one who appears to be an authority figure appears and immediately one feels shame then ??? would a person then want to hide. Things had for certain somehow changed ???. Could it be that man had a evil part b4 ??? but did not know it ?? and so then realizing this life (the teacher one) that he thought to be a friend and teacher in whom he saw no evil, was therefor different from himself and therefor became somehow separate and different.

this is how you think if you really want to hear an encrypted message.

The message may not be hidden on purpose. It may just be that those who wrote it down lived so long ago that their language and thought processes were very different and yet as we try to understand there is something we all have in common!!!.

I doubt alignment of the planets had anything to do with it, but if one viewed life and the universe with "one fist in the air " one might think this is funny where as their audience would perceive it as ridicule and thus know something was amiss, oh yeah it is that she has one fist in the air and thinks she is smarter than us and perhaps after a long record of being right, there is reason to suspect that to be true, however, to think no one in her audience is as smart as she would indicate youth and immaturity because if one is to always be first---to win the blue ribbon often-- one needs both hands at work because lady with "one fist in the air" can only swim half as fast.

so although I do believe I know the answer to your question I do not believe that even if that answer bit you in the a$$ you would believe it then you must figure it out for yourself because that is what people who really want an answer do.

When I wanted to understand I prayed first then read then prayed and then read again, because unlike you I thought there might very well be an important message written here from those who went b4 me about what they were taught.

When reading the Bible the very first thing to ask yourself is what was the motive of the author and that question is answered often. We know that the motive of college professors is to appear intelligent because who would listen to someone not as intelligent as themselves if learning was the objective of the audience. Some actually are and some have perpetuated a long time con man trick and unfortunately their students do not realize they have been dupped until life smacks them around a little and then unless they are in a protected environment like a college campus they must learn or die trying.

Neither, being naked was only wrong after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Good and Evil as you note, because they knew what they did was wrong, and they were ashamed of it to the point of hiding behind bushes, since they're naked bodies only reflected their shame.

Because they sinned against God's command.

The first recorded words in the Bible from Satan are words that are a challenge and contradiction to God’s word.
"Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?" 2And the woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, lest you die.’" 4And the serpent said to the woman, "You surely shall not die! 5"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." 6When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. 7Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings" (Gen. 3:1-7).
The enemy has a method of bringing us away from trust in God’s word.

First, he gets you to doubt God’s word:
"Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?" (Gen. 3:1).

SATAN APPEALED TO HER PHYSICAL NEEDS - her appetite. She listened to Him. Her first mistake.

Second, after the enemy has brought doubt upon God’s word, he then contradicts it: And the serpent said to the woman, "You surely shall not die! (Gen. 3:4).

SATAN APPEALED TO HER PERSONAL GAIN in that he was trying to convince her that she could have it all: what her eyes desired and eternal life.

Third, He reinterprets God’s word.
"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Gen. 3:5).

Within this last comment of Satan, we see the heart of Satan: He wants to be like God and he uses the deceptions of self-will, self-sovereignty, and self-rule to replace God’s word with his lies. In those lies is an appeal to the person to be like God, to be independent of God.

SATAN USES AN APPEAL TO PERSONAL POWER AND/OR GLORY.
