Good question. However, a Christian believer will always try to convince you to look at the trinity as just "one", so he/she will always try to find a way around it...
So, good luck with that! :)

I have heard this explained that Jesus is the human form of the one God. The third part is the Holy Spirit, another aspect of the same single God. The Trinity is not in the New Testament. It was made up by the Roman remnants who hijacked Christianity and mixed it with pagan Roman beliefs. Since the Orthodox/Catholic Church killed most of the original Christians, it is hard to know exactly, beyond the actual recorded words of Jesus, what Christianity taught originally, except that Jesus obviously believed in and taught about one God. Jesus taught that men and women could both worship God and were more equal than the Jews or the Romans allowed. He also taught that all people could know God, it was not an inherited special status.

Tertullian, one of the early church fathers, coined the term "Trinity." The word actually means "three-ness." Tertullian was an ardent supporter of orthodoxy in the church, and was one of the greatest defenders of the historic Christian faith. The term "Trinity" is not found in the Scriptures, but the doctrine is clearly displayed. There are many times where Jesus said of Himself that He was God. He applied the name of God, "I AM," to Himself in several passages. Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. There are several others I have not listed. Besides this, Jesus said that He & the Father were one (John 10:30). This describes a unity, even though there are two. The Trinity has an underlying appearance in the Old Testament as well. In Genesis, we see during creation that God said, "Let us make man in our image." and also when man sinned, God said, "...man has become as one of us, to know good and evil..." Who was He speaking to? The other persons of the Trinity. We also see that the Spirit of God hovered over the waters in the beginning, and in John 1:1-3, it clearly states that Jesus (the Word) made everything. Another angle to pursue is the various Scriptures that demonstrate that God's attributes are present in Jesus as well as the Holy Spirit. For example, the Father is eternal (Psalm 90:2), and so is the Son (John 1:2), and so is the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 9:14). Another shared attribute is their holiness. Only God is truly holy. The Father is holy (Revelation 15:4), so is the Son (Acts 3:14), and so is the Spirit (Acts 1:8). An ancient diagram of the Trinity can be helpful in getting your hands around the doctrine, and can be found at the link in the SOURCE list. The Trinitarian doctrine requires much more depth of discussion than can occur here. It is important to know that we only have to believe, not necessarily understand, the Trinitarian nature of God. It is a bedrock doctrine of the Christian church. Anything else is heresy.

I believe you have the concept of the trinity confused. Each personality represented in the trinity is an attribute of God. There is God the Father, God the son in the form of Christ, and God the Spirit represented by the Holy spirit. These three are all One in the concept of the being of God the One and Only. We ourselves are triune beings body, mind, and soul. The concept of the Trinity was inaugurated hundreds of years ago and was an attempt to try to understand the nature of the Creator and was Not an attempt to create more Gods. There is only One creator with many attributes.

I think you added a little to the definition there (in one form). The trinity is one God. Always has been and always will be. The father, the son, and the holy spirit are three persons that make up one God.. You can call it 3 Gods if you wish. But I will still be a Christian.

Because Christians worship Jesus Who was in the beginning, and was with God and was God.
Because we worship ONE GOD
Elohim
Who is echod/echad (? sp ?)
Elohim is a plural form of the word
echod/echad also can be a plurality, as in when the spies brought back from Canaan ONE cluster of grapes. One cluster, but more than one grape.
Likewise, we worship ONE GOD Who has revealed that He eternally exists as three "Persons": Father, Son, and Holy Spirit..
The "Father" and the "Son" of the blessed Holy Trinity are not father and son as by sperm.
Rather, it describes the RELATIONSHIP between the First and the Second Persons of the Trinity ... as nearly as an infinite God can describe it to us with finite minds. We know the relationship between loving earthly fathers and sons. He wants us to understand that is somewhat like the relationship between the "Father" and the "Son".
Perhaps, according to YOUR definition, One FORM, the form of God; but that form exists as three "Persons".
A bit like H2O is one form, but it exists as solid, liquid, and vapor.

Because the foundation of Christianity is the idea that God, the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy spirit, while being three in role, are one in identity. Some describe it as "three persons but one God." That is the great mystery, that the three individuals constitute one God, and one being.

Your question exposes your ignorance and propensity for the denying of reason and truth!
Us Christians base our beliefs on what Jesus had to say.
Jesus "Never" sinned, and God is the only one that exists that is without sin!
You already, or should know, that the so called prophet Muhammed that you revere so much was a sinful man.
Muhammed said so himself;
http://answering-islam.org.uk/Silas/mo-sinner.htm
Your question propagates the teachings and views of a sinner who at 54 years of age had sexual intercourse with a 9 year old "Child", and Muhammed said God told him it was O.K.!
http://www.geocities.com/AntiJihad/mo_pedo.html
In civilized societies and cultures this is called "Child Molesting"!!!
The "Real" God does not condone horrid things like that!
This is one of the many deviant sins that muhammed committed,
but that one "Alone" has rendered "Everything" that Muhammed said out of his mouth less than credible, therefore rendering your question moot and useless!

Abraham understood in Genesis who YaWeh is.
Yaweh is not Allah. ...
Allah doesn't have a son which means he doesn't have Jesus Christ the savior as his son and part of trinity or god head(father, son and the HS)
Allah has no salvation plan while Yaweh has (whoever beleives in His Son)
All moslems are only sure about one thing, that allah will judge them but not sure if they make it to heaven.
Allah sends the killers (jihadists) to heaven for sure. Yaweh sends those who believed in His Son.
Allah's heaven is worldly (72 virigins for a killer on earth, do you know how old are these virgins, are they made to coincide the death of jihadist? if a jihadist is 75yrs old what is he going to do with the 72 virgins? do these virigins carry children? is Allah the Doctor or alla going to use the Jihadist doctor? when the Jihadists have kids in heaven who will circumcise them? Allah or a jihadist doctor will it be in a hospital or where open land? Yaweh is not involved in procreations while Allah is.
Yaweh created all human beings on earth, Allah created only moslems. If Allah created Jews then he is just sick God to create Jews and then have them killed by his beleivers. Allah is Sick, Yaweh is not.
Allah prefers/loves idol worship, Yahweh Not.
Yaweh repeats of his future actions through prophets (likes the signs on the highway 3 times), Allah has no such policy.
Allah is a moon god(all moslems contries have new moon as their symbol on mosques and flags) Yaweh is creator of all beings.
Allah could not breathe into human beings to give life and soul while Yaweh does.
Allah wants a slaveship with his desciples while Yaweh wants personal fellowship
Allah is a commander sits on his bottom and have his jihadists human beings do the dirty work of killing while Yaweh sends his angels to take care of his business (plagues of Egypt) for his believers.
Allah steals (Yaweh's bible bits and pieces) and encourages its jihadists and followers to while Yaweh the orginial recipe.
Allah comes to steal, kill and destroy while Yaweh to love and save you from eternal condemnation.
Allah curses those who love Israel and Jews, Yaweh blesses those who love Jews and Israel.
Run from Allah 2 Yaweh. Why? cos Allah will not win anything he will be always a loser to Yaweh and his people/armies. Arabs and Moslems wake up and follow Yaweh and start loving Israel and Jews, be a good gentiles and love the Jews. If you want the blessings of real g-d say goodbye to Allah forever. Be smart as Walid Shoebat or Ergun Caner and save your souls now.
Shalom!! Pray for the peace of Israel. God Bless Israel

given that the bible is so chock full of nonsense and self-contradiction, and thousands of errors....
....why ask for an opinion on just one, as if the answer will make sense? the entire cult book is utterly ridiculous. you'd be no better off or worse off if you relied on Peter Pan as your cult story!!
you should ask christians why they are so busy killing people all over the world. THAT should be the main issue!!!
