Some of you will not like this question, but facts must be confronted and addressed rationally, without emotion, or else all Muslims are doomed to remain demonised.
A large minority of Sunnis support for these terrorists while very few Shia do.

Then why do so many Christian denominations today forbid the consumption of it, saying it is sinful? Did Jesus sin by drinking it on many occasions? The water back then was not considered safe to drink and they didn't have the knowledge that we have today of boiling it to purify it, thus the miracle of the water into wine at Cana. If water was truly safe to drink, there would be no reason at all for Jesus to perform that miracle.

They definitely don't believe Jesus was the messiah. Are they awaiting a messiah similar to the Jewish messiah -- a great human leader who will bring peace on earth for all mankind? Is the messiah of any importance in Islam?

If they were, how did you come about being an atheist? Because whether we want to admit it or not, most of us are what we were raised up to be (catholic, baptist, muslim...)

The reason why I'm asking is that I'm just curious. Thanks for the answers!

or more you are familiar with. It may be your own. If possible give a verse or so of scripture that backs up what that church teaches on either literal or spiritual meanings of "This is my body."and "this is my blood." I would like to hear from as may different denominations as possible. Scripture counts the most, but also interested in any history you might have on the early church. The disciples being Jews and without theological degrees makes me wonder what their understanding would have been. Yet they had been with Christ. Did they understand the words straight forward literally? Christ had not yet died and risen. Today I would be inclined to believe "my body" is meant in the risen form.

People cannot obviously use the force so why follow the Jedi religion? I cant understand how you can justify being a Jedi Knight and have no "power" of the force.

A man arrives in heaven, and after entering, God arrives to greet him.
'Would you like a short tour of heaven before I leave you to eternal bliss?' says God.
'Sure' says the man. 'That would be swell of you'.
They start down one of the gold-paved streets, and the man sees a huge cathedral with people going in an out.
'Who are they?' he asks
'Those are the Catholics' says God. 'They love ritual and impressive sermons and flashy architecture.'

They continue a while, and the man sees a long table filled with people eating and arguing.
'Who are those?' he asks.
'Those are the Hebrews' God answers. 'They love two things best: Eating well and arguing'.
Next they see a huge picnic with people dancing.
'The Episcopaleans' says God. 'They never stop partying'
They continue a bit further and come across a big building completely sealed up, with no windows or doors and no way in or out.
'Wow'. says the man. 'Who's in there?'
'Thats the Baptists' says God. 'They think they're the only ones here'.
