Fish-I have tried telling her about my religion, but she has come to think that religion is evil and is all about people trying to better than everone else.I been trying as respectfully as I can,but she is a very sensitive and slightly depressed person.
Eventhough I am a Christian,I will still try to help my friend, both with her religion(or lack thereof) and mine.

I've always thought Raymond Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft was a nice beginner course of study. But I think that's more Alexandrian if memory serves. It's been awhile (since the 80's) since I've shopped for good Wiccan books or added any new ones to my collection. I do recommend Pauline Campanneli (sp?) Wheel of the Year.

I know there are other good ones out there, so I'll step back and let someone more experienced with current Wiccan books give you some good suggestions.

I went via a brilliant Strokes section some years in the past. I nevertheless like them, yet they seem to be a approaches from favorites. BQ: Juicebox, Razorblade (so paradoxically emo lol), on the different section, Reptilia and night solar are my favorites. BQ2: Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rage against the device, crimson warm Chili Peppers, little doubt, 9 Inch Nails, Blind Melon, Nirvana, the Rolling Stones, the Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson, the Offspring... you anticipate me to be waiting to slender this checklist down? i might say Gogol Bordello, yet even nonetheless they're NYC-based, i does not unavoidably say they're from united states of america of america.

I'd recommend some research online, looking over book reviews and such. There are a number of writers out there that serve up "McWicca", passing out "spells" as if they were cookbook recipes and not having much in the way of substance.

Brace yourself for a lot of "DON'T LET HER DO IT! WICCA IS EVIL!" postings from Christians too self-rightious to know better.

I like DJ Conway books. She's a good author for the beginner. In my opinion the Frosts' writings make them seem like meglomaniacs.

well, she has to be careful on the books she choses because the original wiccan-like religion formed tousands of years ago died with no written recolection of its rights. so be careful. there's a church, i believe it's called the national church of wicca or somethin like that. they will prolly have a readin list.

So you are going to add on to the awesome answers you got. How about those that told you Wicca is against God and that He will bring destruction upon anyone who practices it. Are you just going to ignore that. Some friend you are to help lead someone to destruction. I hope God delivers your friend and holds you responsible for what you are trying to do. Some friend you are!

Please don't help her. You would be more of a friend if you prayed for her. At least you wouldn't be participating in leading her to bad information. I will pray for you that you find a way to discourage her from Wicca.

i am not sure if you want help on books to guide her or if you are christian and don't want her to become a wiccan from your question, i will assume the latter and hope it helps. have a long discussion with her, don't be pushy and attack or bombard her,do it casually and with charity in your heart, ofcourse pray before the conversation(s),it will take a while to get through to her. point out the beauty of christianity and the dangers of wicca, also show her the reason why wicca is so hard to find material or members to guide her,the reson being it is simply wrong and has only corrupted a few and the reason is because it is wrong. make sure you find outsome info about wicca for yourself, you can't tell her it is wrong and not have a fact or two to show her why. hope this helps god bless.
