Or they resort to self-pitty and self-hatred.
When people don't feel loved to the very core I believe it is because of traumatizing childhoods. It is not their fault for having those things inflicted upon them. They do, however, have the choice to either work through their issues and find ways to overcome them or indulge in their self-pitty or hate and ager.

Feelings of love or hate is born from the experience of a person that molds his character. It is no ones fault to feel that no one loves you. That is just a feeling of either superiority or inferiority that one has to address himself to. Both would create a person to be angry or hateful. A peaceful person who can exist harmoniously with either kind is a lucky person who will always experience love to its truest sense.

some times the depression caused by not feeling loved is so severe tha t s person cannot pull out of it alone, so my answer I quess would be , it's not always their fault. Some people can give you the impression of not being loved and it's true, they don't like you let alone love you

There is a scripture in proverbs which says, "If a man wants friends, he must show himself to be friendly. In other words, if you want love, then you will have to give it to someone else. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap. It applies for hate also.

It isn't their fault they feel unloved, it is their fault that they handle by hating people and getting angry.

we can only know that which has been taught to us ...
if someone hasnt been shown this in life , then they cannot know how to express that
it is not their fault ... and loving them is not easy ... but hopefully the more we love them in despite of not recieving it in return ...
they may learn what love is
