The benefit of it would be that you would get along with the person very well. But no one thinks exactly alike.

I guess for some people the benefit would be that it would confirm that he/she is right about everything, so yes, that is an ego thing.

Nobody will ever think exactly like another person. Every mind is a unique world. People can think similarly about some issues, but they'll never think exactly.

there will never ever be ( in my opinion of course ) two people who will think exactly alike on anything. there are those who will band together with similar thoughts and ideas but two or more people thinking the exact same way on everything on even one subject well the odds are astronomical against it.
