or are they guilty of not finding out about Jesus and accepting him?

I found their beliefs, respecting nature, using only what they need, and living in harmony to be quite beautiful.

Organized religion has always skewed the laws and God's wills. Jews created their own laws on how to keep the sabbath holy. Roman catholics decided to celebrate things Jesus never instructed the origional christians to do. Every century or so, a new 'denomination' comes along with their idea of what is right. Sects of Muslims have strayed, and started killing. What causes the problem for churches to stray from the word/will of God?

Share your favorite quote from a holy text or other source that has inspired you spiritually. It doesn't even have to have a religious flavor - it just has to have inspired you spiritually.

Mine is from Rosicrucian teachings and says: "There is no failure at the level of the soul."

I've been a believer for about 2 years now and I've noticed many changed. But I read chapter 1 of 1 John and I felt guilty for my continuing to knowingly sin and fall into sexual perversion, lying, and other things. I feel so unworthy of any of His blessings and presense.

I asked a hypothetical question a while ago. The question was if you died tomorrow and you didn't get into heaven, what would be your first thought as to why you didn't get in. Only about half, really answered my question. Others went around my question or were so sure they would get into heaven. Is being hypothetical so scary? I'm not asking to question God or the bible but to question yourself. Admitting wrongs can help to better yourself. Also how can anyone be so sure of their heavenly fate? Isn't it being a little over confident to say you'll get into heaven? I'm not speaking of faith either. You can have faith in God and the bible, but you cannot speak God's mind on judgment for each individual including yourself. After all God is suppose to be the all knowing supreme being. So you can know God and be for God but you cannot know all, for that would make you God. So questioning yourself would admit to not knowing all and humbling yourself to try and live better for God?

I asked a question earlier about "Does Wicca have gods?" the answer was yes all around. The results of the question pretty much gave two answers on which gods.

1st Answer type: Wicca can call upon gods from celtic lore, the greek pantheon, the Hindu pantheon, Norse, you name it.

2nd Answer type: A God and a Goddess, typically symbolized by the sun and the moon. They are usually referred to as "The God" and "The Goddess". They are equally important, however most of the focus tends to be on the Goddess.

So is one answer right, the other wrong, or are both right?

If one is wrong, is there any text which would outline that it is wrong. If they are both right, no need to show the text.

Before you answer, consider 1 John 2:22-23:

Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. - 1 John 2:22-23
