Does prayer work? Hundreds of millions prayed for God to stop Hitler before he killed 30+ million during WWII. Considering the success of their efforts, God is either powerless, heartless, both, or does not exist at all.

God answers all prayers with a "yes", "no", or "later".
If you have an unfortunate experience, like being robbed, remember that God gives us free choice, and there are people out there who don't choose God. But, when you are in an unfortunate episode of your life, and you cling to God, He will help you though.
God doesn't promise us an easy road. He promises to be there with us to give us strength, hope, encouragement and peace. "In this life you will have many tribulations, but I have overcome the world."
I am truly grateful that He has told me "no" sometimes, and that the things I asked for He didn't provide.
He tells us no because He loves us and He is protecting us.
God helps me out everyday, in more ways than you can imagine.

Right so he'll save you 10 dollars and let millions die of thirst and hunger, sheesh!
Actually this sort of thing really makes me angry like almost no other subject. So if a poor woman prays for her baby with cholera which then dies you have no problem with that because her prayers wern't anwered for some reason, yet god sees fit to give you your lousy ten dollars, what sort of God is that??

To be honest if God didn't help me out I wouldn't be here.God is the giver and taker of LIFE.I prayed last night outside of church with a friend for are ride to come it was already a little behind schedule within a minute it came. There many other awnser prayers daily, sometimes God awnser aren't easy to accept, but others they really feel good.I believe you need too keep seeking the Lord in all matters ang thanks for the praise report.

I've had a similiar experience, but I attributed it to the other person being watchful in general and honest. No need to invoke a deity.
