How old were you when you picked your faith ?
Have you had times where you just didn't believe in God or questioned your faith more ?

I saw this in Acts -

20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

But I can't find it anywhere else.

Yet Acts 1:1 says that all of Jesus' teachings should be there, so where is it?

Three Elders of a Baptist Church decided it was time to paint the outside if the building. Not having enough paint the elders decide to thin out the paint instead of buying more.
So they get about halfaw around when they are almost out of paint, so they repeat the thining process. When they are finished the building looks absolutley horrible. And as the elders stepped back to take a look it started to rain and wash away all the paint. Then out of the sky they heard Gods voice say to them Repain and thin no more.

Do you think most churchs are exercising correct biblical leadership

Remove the Pastor and modern Christianity collapses. Remove the Pastor and virtually every Protestant church would be thrown into a panic. Remove the Pastor and Protestantism as we know it dies. The Pastor is the dominating focal point, mainstay, and centerpiece of the modern church. He is the embodiment of Protestant Christianity.

I asked a similar question earlier at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsaNFcp2ztuh7mZyI10wv4_sy6IX?qid=20061106070237AATO7kl

It was a bit impersonal, in that I was curious to see if people were willing to sacrifice the life of a stranger for God (of any religion).

Most everyone knows the story of Abraham. God demanded that Abraham sacrifice his son, Isaac. It was only a test of faith, but Abraham believed in it, and he prepared to spill his own son's blood. God was only testing Abraham.

If you felt that your god would want you to kill your child, could you go through with it?

Please no answers about how Christ was the only blood needed. God has changed his mind in the Bible before, so there's not even a guarantee that Christ is the last of the blood sacrifices. That also only applies to Christians. Jews? Muslims? Hindus?

The purpose of religion is to create love and unity between men. If a religion does not fulfill this primary purpose, should it not be abandoned as an act of religiousity.

This is a real question, based on fact...not the Bible. This is not some lie, like those told by Christian violation reporters. I had painful medical problems, as a result of "God's" disinterest.

A comprehensive explanation of a given set of data that has been repeatedly confirmed by observation and experimentation and has gained general acceptance within the scientific community

in other words: It has TESTED evidence to back it up.

So nothing is "just a theory"

People loosely throw this word around like it meant just a random thought or personal opinion
