I was 8 years old. I don't really recall a time when I didn't believe in God or questioned my faith. I do however question God fairly regularly because He does things I don't understand. I know that everything He does is for my best interest, but a lot of times I really just don't understand why He does what He does. That's why He's God and I'm not

I was 19 when I accepted Christ as my Savior and I have never doubted Jesus or the Father or the Holy Spirit but I have had my ups and downs. I have always known that God knows best, but sometimes I am fussy about what He says is best. He is always faithful though and never boots me out when I'm whining. He'll eventually do something to show me He never left me and that He IS on my side - always. He'll fill me with fresh peace and joy. I may not be good and faithful all the time but He really is. I never doubt that He is God and True, I have only ever been insecure in His love which He is proving more and more to me each day.

I became a Christian when I was 19. I have been through a great deal over the last 27 years, but I don't think that I have never not believed in God or questioned my faith. If anything, the troubles that I have gone through over the years, have brought me closer to God.

I was about three or four years old when I was able to understand about believing in God. I have questioned my faith in the past during some hard times, but my faith has grown, especially very recently when God intervened during a very serious financial situation I was having.

I do not ever remember a time when I didn't believe in God. I was taken to church as a child and I believed that Jesus was the son of God who died on a cross, but that is all I knew. When I was in my teens, I stopped going to church and didn't come back until my 40's! Someone brought me to a Calvary Chapel, which is a very good bible teaching church. After a year or so, I got into bible study. That was it on me! Ten years have passed and my life has changed completely.
Before I came to Calvary, I did not realize I could trust the bible as the word of God. I do believe that now and everything is so much different now that I see things through the perspective of His word.

I grew up Muslim; I left the faith when I was 16 because a cleric told me that Allah needs me to hate Jews and Christians; he said they were infidels. Abut the same time, my sister who was married to an Egyptian Muslim was severely flogged by her husband; this got me thinking...does a loving God wants me to hate others and beat up women?
I then started studying the History of Islam, Judaism and Christianity; I realized that Christ made all the sense and discovered that Allah was just the name of an ancient Pagan Idol.
Yes, I had many problems just after I ran from Islam; for a whole year I was a true atheist; I use to curse God every day...until one day a miracle happened...you won't believe; God really showed me he was real and that he was a loving God ...not like Allah who says to Kill the unbelievers, to stone women and to chop off heads of innocent folks.
God is Great..true...But Allah is a friend of satan. Islam is a Satanic cult.

I didn't really "pick" my faith.
I was found.
I was raised in a Christian home, and though I may have been one, I really did not take it seriously until I did begin to grasp how sinful I was, and how that was proved every day that I tried to live on my own. As soon as that was shown to me, God began to take subtle steps into my life, even in little ways like my parents getting me a yearly Bible as a stocking-stuffer for Christmas, or going to a really cool church camp. He convicted me, showed me a way out, and lead me along that path. It was a process that took place over a few years, and is even still taking place. It was, and is, probably through ages 12-14 that that took, and is taking, place. Of course, I can only say up to 14, because, that's only as far as He has lead me up till now. God bless!

faith was/is a journey....i'd say i felt drawn to God from the age of about 10 or so....but my family didn't practice anything so it wasn't until I was about 18 or so that I read the Bible, heard the gospel of Jesus, and knew in my heart it was true. I have personally never questioned God or my faith...what I have questioned is whether I measure up....though in Christianity, it isn't about measuring up, but as a human being that doubt does creep up.

I was raised Episcopalian. For a while I went to a Methodist church because I sang in the choir. At first I really liked it, but as time went on, it didn't do anything for me. I ran into an Episcopalian friend and decided to go with her one Sunday and found what I was missing. I questioned myself a lot when I was working on my philosophy minor, but I think it made my faith stronger since I still had it when I was finished.

I am twnety years old, and I was saved nearly two moths ago. Let me tell my story. I read a verse in the BIble that says that not all who say to God on that day "Lord,Lord," will enherit the kingdom of God. This verse caused me to examine my own heart in the light of Gods Law because I belived in God but something wasnt right. Let me explain by asking you a few questions........
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the BIble says "he who hates his brother is a murderer". I realized I was in huge trouble because one day I would stand beofre a Holy God who had seen every thought word and deed, and the first time in my life I hungered and thirsted after righteousness. I realized that the only thing I had to look frward to was an eternity in hell, because God is Holy and Just and couldnt stand to look upon the filth of my sin. I then realized why Christ died, I broke the Law and Jesus paid my fine, I then repented (turned from sin) and placed my faith and trust in jesus and today Im soundly saved and I have the gift of everlasting life.
God Bless
