Jesus told a parable about some harvestors who were instructed not to pull up the weeds in the field because otherwise the good crops would come with them. We are being spared because there is good here.

And in the End, the world will be judged by God by fire.

Would backsliding denote that at one time America was blessed by God? Where in the Bible does it say that? Our founding fathers were Deists, believing in the moral teachings of the Bible, but not the miracles. The Bible says that every nation will be destroyed at the time of Armageddon, not every nation except America. As for the destruction of physical America, or any country, the Bible only says the world will be destroyed, not the planet. World has always meant people, not the physical planet. In the sense of the Bible, it means those not in keeping with God's Word, including those who claim to be.

Daughters - Get their father drunk and rape them.

No! I have not done a thing for you or anyone else to judge. Instead of dwelling on "sin" you could spend some time aiding those who are sick, poor or just lonely. That Rev. Haggard's church member said that we are all one step away from doing what the Rev. has done. Jesus Christ and Moses on a raft eating a ham sandwich!! We are not, all of us, doing anything remotely close to the ruination that Haggard caused his family. Christians must love to roll around in filth. You constantly think humans are nothing but a cesspool to be damned to hell. I know lots of people who have really positive things going on in their lives and not on the brink of entering the fires of hell for their behavior.
