If willing is superfluos to humans, why do we fail so many times after making resolutions? We cant be certain of a million things in life. For example, can death be averted just because we willed it off. We cnat decided and determine how things will be a few days down the road? So, whats the case for free will?

Also the terrorists went to a place of terror?

9/11 was prophecied about years before from the LORD's prophet Kim Clement. And Jesus said that He would save many people this day from this attack.

God knew about it. I have prayed for the victims and God has assured me in my spirit that none of the victims were lost, that all went to heaven (excpt the terrorists who went to a place of terror).

Save for the legendary clock or timepiece, time is a measure of thoughts for an individual. When thoughts cease, time too stops.

How does time exist for a person who is blind, who is deaf, who cant smell, who has lost the sense of touch & taste? Assuming this person was born in such a state, his mind does not receive any inputs via the senses and therefore there wouldnt be any flow of thoughts?

I just saw some Muslim kid say

"and yeah Jihad wars are for Just reasons not for fun or for killing "infidels" it's because the Muslims were attacked first and had to fight back to defend themselves. what part of self defense dont people understand?"

How is flying planes into buildings filled with innocent people considered "self defense"? Were the WTC towers a secret military base that was made to attack Islam?

I don't get it. Help me out here people?

Statistics show that most of you are strongly opposed to ‘late-term’ abortions (stating generally that once a baby has developed to the point where it could survive on its own, the mother shouldn’t have the choice of aborting it). However, I would like to know which, if any, of the following exceptions would justify the legal right to a late-term abortion in your opinion:

1.The baby has a life-threatening disease, or a crippling disease that would likely lead to the child being miserable in life (as well as a great burden)
2.The baby is simply unwanted by the mother, and the world doesn’t need anymore unwanted children
3.The baby was due to rape or incest
4.The baby would be a financial burden that the mother cannot handle
5.It is simply as issue for the woman to decide and not the government.
6.The life of the mother is in jeopardy

For whatever reason, a decision could not make a decision until the late term ...Thanks and I look forward to your responses!

I found out that mormon churches keep social security numbers, bank account numbers, etc., etc. on their parishoners who tithe. I guess they record this information from personal checks after the basket is passed around. What are the laws concerning this and why would the church want to have such detailed information?

Are terrorists religious extremists or philisophical extremists or are they simply human swine. (Look up any word in the dictionary if you don't understand it before you answer, thank you)

Religion depends on faith which can quickly lead you down a long hard road of deception. Science on the other hand deals in actual facts and takes nothing on face value. I would rather live in the world of concrete evidence than mysterious hope.

Do you think his message would be dramatically changed again because people want the idea of striving to get into heaven and want the idea of saved versus unsaved? Do you think he'd get at least 4 thumbs-down in Yahoo! Answers for his message?

just because you believe that you feel you have the one true faith .. or the one true prophet .. or the one true belief system
does not invalidate others who are of the same belief about theirs

doesnt it make you think perhaps that everyone holds an element of truth ?
or that maybe ... just maybe ... no one has it right , not even you ?

please dont belittle others faiths when they all feel as strongly about theirs as you do about yours

I am sure if there was a God he doesnt care too much about people. Look at all the suffering going on in the world today. Wars, famine, disease , racism etc. etc. Wouldnt a righteous God put an end to these things if he truly cared about people?

your greatest fear?

2006-10-29 02:39:57 · 24 answers · asked by Anonymous

when compared to the religious nutters who killed 50% more so called "witches" by burning them to death (in most cases). Although I obviously most emphatically condemn what happened to the Jews under the Nazis, 9 million people died for no crime other than being suspected of witchcraft. In the fullness of time, when the scars of what Hitler did have healed (there are still many people alive who remember the times of these atrocities) will it just be discarded as historical fact, like the witch hunts are now? Or will people still hate the Nazis? And if so, why don't we hate Christians now for the deaths of 9 million women?

(Sorry if I offended anyone with the question, just want some sort of heartfelt reaction to a genuine question, I'm intrigued...)
