I think all things are still striving for perfection. God left everything an out when He created it. He accounted for the fact that Man was going to be damaging the environment and that habitat would dwindle as man interfered with the natural progression of things and he therefore allowed for things to evolve in order to adapt to the changes we wrought on what he had created in perfection to begin with.

The majority of species that have existed-99% in fact-have gone extinct. It seems therefore that perfection is beyond the capabilities of mother nature.

if you are a buddhist then yes, everything is the buddha nature and perfect
if you dont believe in spirituality then yes
