Those who believe everything science tells them are the ones being led down a long, destructive road of deception. It actually takes more faith to believe that we came from nothing than to believe we had a Creator.
"Evolution is the backbone of biology and biology is thus in the peculiar position of being a science founded upon an unproved theory. Is it then a science of faith?" - Evolutionist L.Harrison Matthews
"In fact, evolution became in a sense a scientific religion.Almost all scientists have accepted it,and many are prepared to "bend" their observations to fit within it." - Physics Profesor H.S.Lipson
By not accepting PROVEN evidence AGAINST evolution, evolutionists have shown that evolutionism is not science, but religious faith in atheism. That is the only reason evolution is being preached so vehemently,to keep God out of science, and out of our lives.
The ONLY concrete evidence scientists have is microevolution, and unfortunately, they use that to further deceive the public by then introducing macroevolution into the equation in hopes that the public won't realize the differences between the two.
The fact is that science IS proving that there is a Creator, but atheist evolutionists are not recognizing and teaching those facts to the public. The only people who are still denying creation are the atheistic evolutionist scientists and the atheists who follow them. And one day, they will be forced to admit that they have been preaching a total lie that has caused many gullible people to be deceived. And I'm not talking about God's Judgement on them, though that will happen.I'm talking when the proof against evolution becomes so strong that it can no longer be denied.Religion isn't contrary to science, because science is ultimately what will prove evolution to be false and the Bible account true.

Whereas certain religions may contradict science, the bible does not. While many ancient cultures held the flat-earth view, Christians with bibles knew that the earth is a sphere (Isaiah 40:22) suspended in space (Job 26:7).
It's interesting to note that British philosopher and sociologist, Herber Spencer observed that all reality in the universe could be contained in 5 categories - time, force, action, space, and matter. This astute discovery was Spencer's most notable contribution to the world of his day.
The very first verse of the bible says plainly what man didn't catalogue until the 19th century A.D. "In the beginning (time) God (force) created (action) the heavens (space) and the earth (matter)."
Until Galileo's telescope (around 1600 A.D.) realized the stars were innumerable, early astronomy (Hipparchus, Ptolemy) held that the stars were precise in number. Galileo's astronomical discovery was preceeded 2600 years ago in the bible through the pen of the prophet Jeremiah (Jer. 33:22).
As recently as 1775, anthropology taught that there were 5 incompatible races of men with different kinds of blood. It was not until 1900 that Nobel prize-winning pathologist Karl Landsteiner discovered plasma and helped science understand the Common Blood Theory, thus blood donations and transfusions have enhanced and extended human lives.
Through the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit, the author of Acts (Luke, a physician) made this declaration 1800 years before Landsteiner ("And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth." Acts 17:26).
Is the bible a comprehensive science textbook? Of course not, but the point is this: The bible validates good science, and good science does not contradict the bible. Any honest scientist will agree with this assertion.

Not all religions are like this. I was catholic and I found a lot of ...conflicts but later I realized Islam is so close to science that u can perfectly believe in the big bang theory coz it matches with the thing u can find in Quran. The thing is muslims are encourage to explore the world and to get our feith from a rational process. If we have brains we better use them...

If you are finding that your religion is contrary to science, then you should consider that you dont actually understand your religion.
People dont blindly accept something or practice it for thousands of years if it doesnt work or isnt at least based on the truth.
Religion- or at least mysticism, is the experience of reality through conscious awareness.
Science is the description of it, or what we can observe anyway.
Nowadays they say very similar things, quantum physics-(bohm esp) especially has a lot to offer, as did einstein and hunt.
You might be interested in what science has to say about advanced meditators, such as tibetan monks and hindu yogis.

Science also uses faith, as when they put forth theories they can't prove, like the Theory of Evolution. It is unproven, and voodoo science.
Life can't evolve from non-life, and yet, they claim life evolves, so how did that very first life form - whatever it was - come into existence since it couldn't evolve?
Answer: it was created by God.
Science guesses alot, which is the definition of theory in the dictionary.

Actually when it touches on science the bible is accurate. For instance the nation of Israel was given laws to quarantine lepers. It also said the earth was round when many at the time believed otherwise. And gives other examples that too are accurate. Generally, things go wrong when people enter their own ideas.

My answer: It isn't. It just seems to be that way for people (on both sides of the issue) who don't know any better. People who mistakenly believe that it's EITHER/OR instead of both.
Given the choice, I'd rather live in a world where people think for themselves, discuss issues rationally and openly, and respect other opinions and positions. But, as we can see even in a community as small as R&S, it's not likely to happen.

what gets me is how the religionists are scrambling to make their bible match up to science now. After 1400 years of declaring the earth to be flat and burning as a heretic anybody who disagreed now suddenly the bible proves the earth round and beats science to the punch? What a crock.
