A religious education teacher told me this when I was still in school.

I have a few problems with this. My brother died very young. Does this mean he will go to Hell as he was to young to ask to be saved.

Also, what about people whit mental disabilities that prevent them from being able to ask to be saved.

On top of this there are so many millions of people who are born into a situation it is unlikely they will ever even know much about Christianity. How should they know what to do?

A good portion of our genetic code has no apparent purpose ... that is until you account for millions if not billions of mutations that no longer have a phenotype in modern humans.

Would a perfect designer really leave a bunch of bent over nails in the perfect piece of furniture?

Please try to be specific and respectful.

My answer:
By blocking (delaying) stem cell research they are preventing finding a cure for many, many diseases that cause untold numbers of humans to suffer. Their only reasoning for this is a belief that a tiny ball of 150 or so undifferentiated cells has a “soul”. (It should be noted that the brain of a fly as around 10,000 cells.) Unfortunately it can’t be established that even souls exist so these so called souls are more or less wishful fantasies on the part of the religious. This is sad bordering on criminal.

Please try to be specific and respectful.

My answer:
It seems that religion was important at one point. It helped early man to form cohesive societal units or tribes. However we have evolved beyond our need for religion.

Just want to know what people thinks about it. With all the big problems in the world today does it seem to you like a big issue?
Do you care what people do in their bedroom, should it be legislated or leave the judging up to God to decide?

...JUST SUSTAIN LIFE...that the chemicals they are made from, could be assembled by chance.... are so small that it would be negligable for this to happen by accident" This statement was made by the Late Sir Francis Crick, the co-discoverer of DNA. He added that " more likely life was planted here" ... coming short of admitting God exists so as not to be excommunicated from the scientific community. If a man who was most of his life an agnostic, can say this, why is the existance of God so far fetched? Me thinks ye protest too much!!!
It's like this...if I took all the parts of a Corvette and laid them neatly on the floor in a room...put all the tools that are needed to assemble it on the floor in line...put all the fluids that are needed on the floor...put an assembly manual on the floor...locked the door for a million years, do you honestly believe it would put itself together and then drive out by itself??? Better odds for this than life coming from nothing. Details soon...

How do you know if the religion that you belong to is false?
Says that Satan can be an angel of light and appear really good,
So it would not be easy to spot a religion that is not doing God's will, how do you think you could spot a false religion?

Did someone who died send you a post card?

I mean no one has any scientific proof of life after death. They just base beliefs on what another person said who has nothing to back it up either....

I'm just saying!!

I think it is showing the moral decline of our nation. It is giving people the excuse to "live it up like the Devil" without having to answer for it. What's your opinion?

I just started going back to church. When I was going before I had problems trusting God. (Well I have trust issue with everyone)

Now I want to do it right. I have a few big things going on in my life now. I know God will do it if I just turn it over and leave it alone.

My thing is I start to loose faith and take it back. How do I just let go?
Gosh its hard to do.

Surah 109.
1. Say : O ye that reject Faith!

2. I worship not that which ye worship,

3. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.

4. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,

5. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.

6. To you be your Way, and to me mine.
