I think it is showing the moral decline of our nation. It is giving people the excuse to "live it up like the Devil" without having to answer for it. What's your opinion?

I agree. Those commercials disgust me. But I do understand that Jesus told us the end times would closely resemble the time of Noah, when society was deeply evil. It's certainly a direct reflection of the decline of our culture when we make light of a place where every sort of sin imaginable is available, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Unfortunately, Las Vegas is only one of many Sodoms or Gommorahs in this country.

Maranatha!

EDIT: For the first time in YA history, I agree with an answer given by Captain Atheism.

I don't like the commercials as they glorify deception concerning people's mates. But the commercials are only verbalizing an attitude that has been around for my entire life and I have lived most of my life in places that are vacation spots. This is the attitude people have when they come to visit my home community and the locals see this and don't think it is very decent.

Those commercials make me sick. The fact that a woman cheating on her husband, and then pretending she went shopping the whole time, is viewed as funny...

I don't know how people can make light of such things.

And also, the fact that those commercials appeal to some people, ie: "If you want to do morally reprehensible things, come to Vegas..." They wouldn't be airing those commercials if it didn't bring more visitors.

shows that their tourism bureau certainly has some strange ideas as to what will draw people to Las Vegas. would prefer them showing some good points such as museums, art exhibits and other inspiring inducements.
