love&light,
Dr. Chu ? warns that some think they wont change unless they are born again. Does that mean something?
When I was born again, reborn spiritually, that was a victorious change in my life. When the Holy Spirit filled me, that was another victorious change in my life. It is written, Who is He that is victorious? He who is born of God. And What is our victory. Our Faith in Jesus Christ & God.

t_a_m_i_l,
The Bible says, "Do not be like that profane person, Esau." The dogs and swine are those that treat the things of God cheaply. The things that are 'holy' are the things of God.

the dogs refer to ignorant fools
pearls refer to precious words of wisdom
swine also refer to ignorant fools
Therefore the message is do not cast your precious pearls of wisdom before those who cannot appreciate it, you will be wasting your time.
The fact is that most of the time such precious pearls of wisdom are wasted on fools who cannot see beyond their own ignorance and arrogance.
By the way I am offering a FREE way to prove to yourself god exists without a shred of doubt in a logical, rational and simple way.
If you have an open mind please go to this link and download the
FREE book. The fact that it is free should convince u that it is not a scam or money sceme. But it is indeed full of pearls, will you be the swine or will you be wise and accept this offer which could be the best gift anybody has ever given you?
Anyway good luck friend and let me know how it goes
with love and light

There is nothing holy in this world except the Word of God. The Holy Scriptures. It is the only Truth to be found in this place. When God says "cast not your pearls" He is speaking of the Truth contained in His Word. Dogs and swine are references to those who reject it. If someone is not open or seeking after Truth we should not shove it down their throats or beat them over the head with it, but leave them alone and move on.

Holy is being separate for God. Set apart.
Dogs refer to us- Gentiles.
Pearls refer to pearls.
Swine refers to pigs-
Jesus is calling gentiles ( us ) what the Jewish people called us at that time. He is also saying we do not/ did not know God-
Do not cast pearls before swine- means - do not give good things to people who will not/ do not appreciate it. Pigs would never appreciate pearls.

Holy refers to anything you use in worship, like your Bible, hymnals, chalice, any crosses or representations of Jesus. Or a person can be holy if they suffer a lot, like a little disabled child who is innocent. Pearls refers to anything that's important to you, or even concepts like your wisdom or morailty. Dogs and swine are anyone or anything that won't respect these items. Like you don't bother to try to moralize to an ignorant person who you know will refuse to hear you.

I always took it to mean don't give yourself or your precious things to things or people who will do no good with what you give.
