believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. AMEN.

We believe in the triune God... God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is God the Son. Because Adam committed sin and brought sin into the world, and eternal death through sin, Jesus is needed to pay the price in your place for sin.
Thus everyone who believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God the Son, for the sins of the world will be saved from eternal death.
If you can get hold of a Bible, you can check out these scriptures, all are in Romans:
1. Everyone has sinned (messed up)
Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23
2. There is a price for sin - eternal death in hell
Romans 5:12, Romans 6:23
3. Jesus paid the price
Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23
4. Confess and Believe
Romans 10:9,10

The Holy Trinity. God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
It's like this, God the Father is our creator is a Holy God that can not have sin in his presents. God created man and then man sinned therefore separating us from or Holy God our creator and friend. As time past man tried living by law but law could not repair or cover our sin from a holy God. Our sin just piled up. So God sent his Son Jesus Christ (God the Son) to die that our sins would be covered or hidden from God so that we could come to him once again. You see our sin can only be covered by Innocent blood (the blood of the Lamb). When Jesus came the law was no longer needed, our sin no longer was in a large pile before God, Jesus took our punishment for sin. Our punishment for sin was death. When Jesus ascended into heaven he sent his Spirit (God the Holy Spirit) to us here on earth so that we would have a guide and power through the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. So since I have accepted this truth and ask Jesus to forgive me of my sin and the Holy Spirit now resides in me! I have the Spirit of Jesus living in me. As to not grieve the spirit living in me I try to live my life without sin. Notice I said try, I am human so I do my best and ask for forgiveness frequently.
I hope this answers your question. Have a great day! : )

The basis of the Christian faith is that we are separated from God because we are sinners. God, being holy and pure, cannot tolerate sin. So we are closed off from Him. Since God loves us, He created a way for us to have a relationship with Him. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life here on Earth as man. Jesus then took the punishment for all sin upon Himself and died on the cross as atonement for that sin. He was buried and resurrected and now lives at the right hand side of God. Through belief and faith in His sacrifice, we are made pure and holy and are able to enter into a relationship with the Living God. Jesus, being both man and God, was the only one who could atone for all sin, as He is infinite His death was infinite and He was able to carry the entire load of sin on His shoulders.

A christian in my eyes is somebody who has a close relationship with god. I do not class it as a religion, all religions are false.
A christian is somebody who glorifies god and believes in the lord Jesus Christ. They have given their life to Jesus, by asking for forgiveness and excepting him into their lives. They also believe that Jesus is the son of god and he died on the cross for our sins.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" --John 3:16
This is the most important verse in the holy bible.

He is right it is just hype. Most religions are meant to keep us in check. To teach us ethics and morals. Did you know the bible has more bloodshed in it then uplifting material.Though to answer your question..Christians believe we are all created by one entity this being God and God had one son jesus and jesus was sent to earth by a vessel called the ''virgin'' mary and he came to try and place natural order to explain the unexplained and also to die for our sins ..blah blah ..we go to hell if we arnt good and holy or what ever and we go to heaven if we ask him to be in our hearts..
The best thing to do is believe in your own mind what you think aslong as you have good ethics and morals you will be okay from whatever if any judgement the afterlife brings.
Religion is a personal beleif as it was meant to be.

Watch the posts that follow - they can't even decide if God and Jesus are the same thing. Then they have this other thing called the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit, and not a single person can agree on what THAT is. Some say it's just a little birdie.

We believe in GOD, THE SON and THE HOLY GHOST. Our GOD is so mighty, he is THREE in 1! THE HOLY GHOST live within us, to guide us on our paths and the Son, Jesus Christ is the one who died for us on the cross to show his love to his children and God is our maker, he is the 3 in one. Read the bible, then you’ll understand, there’s lots of wise stuff to learn!

True Christians are guided by the Bible and they will not allow false religion to taint their worship of God. True followers of Jesus do not get involved in this world's politics because Jesus said his followers would not be "part of the world." John 15:19. True Christians do not defile themselves by smoking or entertaining themselves on movies that go against Bible principles, such as the "harmless" and demonic "Harry Potter" films. True Christians remain neutral to the world's conflicts by refusing to go to war and slaughter their fellow man. They also do not participate in pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. True Christians believe there is one true God whose name is Jehovah, and they use His name frequently in their worship of Him. They also believe in Jesus, who is not God the Son but the Son of God, like the Bible calls him.
There is more, but I'll stop there.
