isn't faith needed here more, on earth with each other, and not wasted onsomething not even worthy of the tag circumstantial evidence in the courts where we are made to pledge the truth to him. Isn't is just hearsay?

I know secret levels, oaths / ceremonies take place and new Mormons have to go up in the church. To someday be Gods. At the top of the ladder is the Morman Jesus' brother, Lucifer. Lucifer will help them be Gods.

What do you think about getting this information after doing all the levels, secret ceremonies & oaths?

I would like 2 hear from people who do not base their spirituality on religion, its scripture, rituals, traditions, etc.

If u want 2 tell me Jesus saves & u have a personal relationship with him or that u know the LDS church is the 1 true church- that's ok, I respect that, & I am happy u have found something that works for u. Thank u for sharing your testimony. However, it won't be much help to me. I am looking for something I haven't heard before.

Please, don't assume that because I am not a believer, I am unfamiliar with the bible or the BOM & their teachings. I am very knowledgable about the bible (studied it for 20 years) & I have read the BOM many times. It won't really help 2 hear more about them.

Thanks 2 everyone who shares. Sorry I am so guarded. People in my community r very zealous about their religion & think anyone who does not believe is dead wrong. I really just want to hear from people who are not into religions.

Thank you

Babies are born with a little soft-spot on top of their skull, the fontanelle. So, babies are litterary born with an 'open-mind'. (this is a metaphore, you can find many examples of metaphores in the Bible..)

God did not give us a christian-gen, neither does he create babies with the natural ability to believe in God. Babies, when born, believe in no Higher Power.

Did God intentionally let us be born as atheists?

1.Why do the followers of Islam believe that Jesus Christ was not crucified and that God caused somebody who looked like Jesus to be crucified in his place? Six centuries after Jesus Christ descend into Heaven. This is promulgated in the Koran, Jesus was crucified not

2.Why do they also follow the assumption the Bible is corrupt whilst accepting some elements in the Bible as true and reject other segments as false?

3. It can be assumed without a shadow of doubt if the Bible is corrupted so is the Koran is also corrupt?

4. Mohammed could neither read nor write. How was he able to know what his scribes wrote down or remembered was what he actually said?

5. Jesus was the only Prophet to be born of a virgin (immaculate conception) and raised into heaven whilst still living and will be the judge of mankind on Judgement day. Mohammed will not be there, if fact he was not certain he would inherit eternal life. The greater prophet therefore is Jesus.

I just previously asked about immortality and resurrection. Poor responses without knowledge, so let's try this. John 5:28,29 Jesus says Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in their memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection od judgment. So I'll ask again, what is the purpose of Jesus teaching a resurrection back to life if we have an immortal soul that survives death.

I read about this group and that group and how they predicted some major event (end of the world, major earthquake, UFOs coming to take home the faithful, etc, etc) for a certain date. Then they're wrong.

Doesn't that invalidate their whole belief system? If you answer "no", why doesn't it??

Not certain of the exact year, but did he predict the end of the world and it didn't end? If a prophet makes a prediction, and is wrong, does that mean he's not a prophet? What does this mean to Islam?
