Death does not terminate man's life. On the other hand, Islam teaches that it is the door that opens to an eternal lifer after death. The appropriate reward for one's earthly deeds, good or bad, is disbursed only in the Hereafter. The Islamic belief is that mankind will be resurrected, on the Day of Judgement, after every creation is destroyed. After being reborn, man will face a trial which will be in absolute control of the Almighty. Here, all the good and bad acts of man during his sojourn on earth will be unfurled before his eyes in order to be ultimately judged by God. The virtuous will be rewarded with virtue and the wrong doers punished appropriately. Those who have made sacrifices and discharges noble deeds will receive the shelter of peace in Heaven and those who have denigrated their lives through vices and evil will be condemned to suffer horrors of Hell. Islam inculcates the concept of accountability both in public and private life of a person by emphasizing the paramount importance of life Hereafter for mankind.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said whoever says "There is no deity of worship except Allah (One God) and that Muhammad is his messenger" will be saved. Believing in everything else is considered the greatest sin in Islam and this sin cannot be forgiven. God will ask the people who worshipped other gods to go and ask help from their gods, and when their gods can't save them, they will be all sent to Hell.
We Muslims believe in Paradise and Hell. We do not believe in reincarnation - you got that right! Depending on your actions and behavior in this world your destination will be decided. Therefore it is in every individual's own hands whether to go to Paradise or Hell.

talking about life after death:
-
- muslims believes that you don't go to Hell or paradise yet, but to the life of death called 'Al-burzokh" refer to your grave. it either become a pieace of paradise or a pieace of Hell.
-then you stay in the life of death Al-burzokh till the day of judgement comes.
-when God commanded the day of judgement to occur, your body grow like it was before, it will grow from the ground almost like this kind of planet: http://members.aol.com/punksdad/h2omelon.gif
- then you will wait till your bring infront of God to be questioned, and there are those who will not be questioned and go to Hell, and there will be those who will not be questioned and go to paradise.
-Then God decide whoever goes to Hell, and whoever goes to paradise.
