I want to believe there is a god and I see signs of a god. but am I interpreting those signs incorrectly because of my desires? I am honest enough to say that I very well could be.

It sure would be comforting to know that there is someone in control- until I think of a god watching people get raped, mugged, molested, and otherwise victimised. Then the idea of a being that is okay with that is really disturbing.

I envy all people who feel for sure one way or the other even if they are wrong. That way you don't have to think about it, you can just interpret the evidence to fit whatever your belief system is without really weighing it with an open mind.

According to scripture, man was made after God's LIKENESS. Man has a mind, body and soul. So it follows that God also is mind, body and soul. God is the Mastermind. Jesus Christ is the actual body. The Holy Spirit is the soul. They are called the
Trinity.

It's a leap of faith, Rita. And don't worry about Mother Nature, she'll take care of her own.

one in no///one mind in body and not in a soul.Like I said the soul is the physical part of your being. You are formed in Gods image ,for it is all said in the green ,cant you see it? If not your spirit within your mortal soul is no longer living.,your dead and don't even know it ,For you are spiritually blind ,when you come out with that line. You have spoken a lie in the unholy words of falsehood and become a part of the second death of your true essenes ,which is spirit and is light found within your mortal soul / and are just another brink in the wall. For the truth is God is a holy being and cant enter into an unholy world only through the son of God who carries the spirit of God inside his soul.Only through fire can the whole true being of God enter into the world until a holy place is prepared for the Lord God Almighty

how come you don't believe that Allah is not exist. Let me ask some questions may help you to find the right answers,
1. who created the first man?
2. who manage and run the planets in the space? or you think the planets have minds to run them selves?
3. who create the beautiful nature (the wood, desert, animals....)?
4. what are you going to do if you find your self in the middle of the ocean and the waves takes up and down and you feel that you are for sure dead?
you will discover that you where wrong and Allah (God) is exist where ever you are to help you when you need him.

Huh? God certainly has a body, mind and soul! Where have you been for the last 2000 years? Anyway, God the Father is Antimatter...........I was just reading an article today that talks about a new cloaking device that makes things invisible and I thought, wow! God already has that technology and we mere humans are just discovering it!

Does air exist? Does it have any of these three things? You argument doesn't hold water, which also exists. Now if by body you mean spacial existence, how do you know with certainty that God has no body? Just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Have you seen Micronesia? It exists whether or not you've seen it. Faith is important, which doesn't exist for you. But that's okay.

i don't believe "god" because there is no signs of "god" but i do believe in a upper force be cause if you think hypothetically with dementions every thing starts as adot(the first demention)and turns in to a flat 2d figure(the second demention)but thene goes to a figure that you can see the space around wich is 3d(the third demention) but thene turns into a 4d figure wich is life itself(the fourth dememtion) so the last remaining step is the next demention wich is unidentified but the question is is what created the dot so in thery the fith demention is god (witch created the dot) but our civilization hasnt reached this point of the fith demention to recreat life as we know it

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
