Greetings. I am LDS and would love to tell you about our church.

That said, here is a little information to get your started. We believe in God the Eternal Father, his Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. We believe in the same church organization that Christ established with prophets, apostles, etc and we follow that same pattern in our church today. We believe that we should have faith in Jesus Christ, repent, be baptised and recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost. We believe in the eternal nature of marriage and families through the priesthood. We believe in keeping the commandments of God. We believe in being morally clean by not using bad language, not smoking, not drinking, not having pre-marital sex, not viewing pornography, etc. We believe in serving our fellow beings. We are basically decent people trying to live our religion.

Yes, it's regarded flawed. In the "For the Strength of Youth" handbook we're recommended to preserve natural ideas and to not lust. Masturbation is in particular prohibited and regarded sinful. See pages 26-28 of the hyperlink underneath.

Members of my family belong to the Mormon church.
So far as I can tell, it's centered on unbelievable bullshit that only the most gullible could possibly accept as true.
