I know secret levels, oaths / ceremonies take place and new Mormons have to go up in the church. To someday be Gods. At the top of the ladder is the Morman Jesus' brother, Lucifer. Lucifer will help them be Gods.

What do you think about getting this information after doing all the levels, secret ceremonies & oaths?

I have heard that this is true. One is an x mormon who found out when she got to the top. Masons also are connected with this.

If you are of a Mormon church, do some study. Also if you go to the top and find out, don't worry about any oaths or contracts because Lucifer isn't going to keep his part of the contract anyway.

whapingmong, You are the one misinformed. Just because I wrote ladder doesn't mean there isn't levels. My niece is caught in this trap and showed a book to family members of the different levels to attain.

Brian, I know of one ex-Mormon who found out the hard way. Lucifer is at the top in directing how to be gods. So it is just another trick of the Mormon religion. It is also a soul trap. When you find out the truth. Just remember, the hard work you did to be righteous, is self righteousness not Christ righteousness. And you don't have to go along with Lucifer. Realize you were tricked. Lucifer wont hold his end of the bargan anyway. All the oaths, etc. don't matter. Just repent to Jesus Christ of Nazareth for not believing in Him and what He did on the cross for you. That is how we put on Christ righteousness. We go to church because we are in Christ righteousness. We don't go to church to be righteous.

Are Jesus and Lucifer spirit-brothers? Jesus and Lucifer are spirit-brothers.

Jesus was the first one born of heavenly parents, and Lucifer was a younger sibling. Jesus is referred to as Lucifer's, as well as our, elder brother in the pre-earth life (Ibid.; and Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel through the Ages, 15).
Though some Mormons, ignorant of their faith, may argue Godhood is not a teaching peculiar to Mormonism, history proves that it indeed was and is. Both the "Journal of Discourses" (JOD) and the "Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith" (TPJS) record that, on April 6, 1844, LDS Church founder Joseph Smith preached to a congregation of 20,000 saying, "Here then is eternal life - to know the only wise and true God; and you have got to learn how to be Gods yourselves, and to be kings and priests to God the same as all Gods have done before you" (JOD 6:4; TPJS p.346). Brigham Young, the second prophet and president of the Mormon Church, delivered a message in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on August 8, 1852, in which he affirmed this teaching when he said, "The Lord created you and me for the purpose of becoming Gods like Himself" (JOD 3:93).

First, there are no secret level, oaths, ceremonies, etc. We are not all masons, I'm not a mason and I don't know any who are masons currently. I don't know what you mean by the ladder or what you think we do. I will tell you what we do. To join the church we are baptised, fully immersed in water. In the temple we do sacred ordinances for ourselves and our ancesters. Included in these is marriage and "sealings" which mean that we can be with our family for time and all eternity. I don't understand anything else about what your asking, but we do believe that if we are righteous enough in this life that we can become gods during the rest of eternity.

You are absolutely wrong and misinformed. You are the one who should study before you post falsehoods about a religion to which you obviously do not belong and most certainly do not understand.

1. There are no "secret" levels, oaths or ceremonies. Of course, there are priesthood ordinances, but they are available to any adult member whose life is in accordance with Gospel teachings. While they are sacred, they are certainly not secret.
2. There is no "going up" in the church. There are no people aspiring to climb your imaginary ladder.
3. Lucifer plays no part in our religion except the fact that he exists as outlined in the Holy scriptures. It is through Christ's atoning sacrifice that we hope for eternal life.

Is there a particular reason that you have issues with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints?

What ladder are you talking about? I have been associated with the Mormons for nearly 30 years, and know of no such ladder. I take it you are referring to us receiving certain ordinances, such as baptism, confirmation, priesthood, and temple endowment. If that is the case, then I guess you could say I have reached "the top" because I have received all of these ordinances. Now, Satan (or Lucifer) has not received any of these ordinances. How could he possibly be at "the top"? Lucifer was cast out of heaven for rebellion. He will never receive any of the blessings of heaven. You have been seriously misinformed. Of course, having received your information from ex-Mormons, what can you expect? What divorcee has anything good to say about their ex-spouse? I have read many comments by ex-Mormons, and at times I am surprised by their comments; it's as if they don't know anything about Church doctrine. I am sure you don't really believe what these ex-Mormons have to say. It is ridiculous.

There are no secret oaths, levels or ceremonies that Mormons do. While you do go through ceremonies like Baptism, but these are only for when you feel that you are ready. Also,Lucifer is not at the top of the ladder, our Heavenly Father is, and he is here to help us resist Lucifers temptations to do evil. Lucifer will not help us in our quest for eternal happiness.

I thank Heavenly Father that we have opposition so ignorant of the facts. When ever a doctrine is challenged, it is always supported by nonsense. Is this the best you can do?
