"Experiencing God" -- by Blackaby & King: Explains the deity of Jesus (the relationship of God to Jesus).
p. 86 -- "In the Gospels, God spoke through His Son, Jesus. The Gospel of John begins: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:1,14). God became flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ. (See also 1 John 1:1-4.)
The disciples would have been foolish to say, “It’s wonderful knowing you, Jesus; but we really would like to know the Father.”
Philip even said, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us” (John 14:8).
Jesus responded, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; so how can you say, “Show us the Father”? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works” (John 14:9-10). When Jesus spoke, the Father was speaking through Him. When Jesus did a miracle, the Father was doing His work through Jesus.
Just as surely as Moses was face-to-face with God at the burning bush, the disciples were face-to-face with God in a personal relationship with Jesus. Their encounter with Jesus was an encounter with God. To hear from Jesus was to hear from God.
In the Gospel accounts, God was in Christ Jesus. God spoke by Jesus. When the disciples heard Jesus, they heard God. When Jesus spoke, that was an encounter with God."
John 14:15-17 -- Jesus explains the Holy Spirit
15 If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Those who say the trinity is a mystery sure try their best to explain it. They say God is comprised of three co-equal, co-eternal persons. However, what many people don't know is that the concept of the trinity became a "Christian teaching more than 300 years after the Bible was completed. The trinity was unknown to Jesus' followers. It was also unknown to men of pre-christian times. Why didn't Joshua or Moses or Jeremiah mention the trinity's view of God? The truth is, they never worshiped a trinity. Their God was Jehovah, and he was NOT a trinity.
Let's take a look at two trinity "proofs". At John 10:30, Jesus says: "I and the father are one." Tell me please, in that verse where does it say that God is made up of three divine persons? It doesn't. And besides, that verse is only talking about TWO persons, NOT THREE! No trinity there.
How about Matt. 28:19, where the Father, the Son and the holy spirit are mentioned together? Where in that verse does it say that God is made up of three co-equal persons? I can't see it. Can you?
The truth is that the trinity doctrine is false and that true Christians don't believe it. Instead, they "worship the Father with spirit and truth." See John 4:23, 24.

The Holy Trinity is difficult to explain--that is why the Trinity is a Mystery. It is a Mystery because it is hard for the human mind to comprehend how Three Can Be & Remain One, & yet, that Is exactly what the Trinity is: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, 3 Divine Persons, & yet Only One God.
However, I love the belief in the Triune God, precisely because it is hard for the human mind to comprehend. It shows us exactly how Awesome & Great the One True God Is, How Limitless His Power Is. He Is 3 Divine Persons, & yet Only One True God.
It is completely amazing thing to ponder!!!

The trinity is a basic concept of christianity that was around long before protestants. St Patrick a ROMAN Catholic from ROMAN england explained the trinity using a clover three parts of one leaf. Three arms of one body. Seperate but at the same time one. No one can explain it.The book that comes closest is the Hindu Upanishads. THey were talking about the trinity 1000 years before Moses.

The trinity is not in the bible. Most people think it is a god made up of 3 parts. They understand the father part...they know jesus is the son of god but they don't know anything about the holy spirit. It is a force between the father and the son. In fact when on earth a woman with a 12 year flow of blood touched the hem of jesus' garment and he felt some of his spirit flow from him to her..and he asked who did that?
In conclusion, remember the bible doesn't teach the trinity. The bible says to go therefore and baptize them in the name of the father and the son and of the holy spirit..which is the force we feel from them.

The Holy Trinity is the basically God. He is viewved as 3 persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is God on its own and are all God together. Yes, it's confusing. Think of it as 3 globs of chcolate. Each is individually chocolate and great, and together it is the same. 1 God, 3 persons. Hard to understand with puny human minds, but it's true. Think of it as 3 different ways God shows and acts towards us.

The storyline for the third film, "Blade Trinity" (2004), finds Blade joining forces with two vampire hunters, part of a group called the Nightstalkers, as they tackle the powerful and ruthless villain Danica Talos. After harvesting the superior blood of the ancestor of all modern vampires, Talos has resurrected the man now known as "Drake" (notice the modernization of the Dracula name) from a century-long sleep in the hopes of finally getting world control for all vampires. Blade, along with the Nightstalkers must unleash a virus that will kill all vamps-- but only are given one chance to make it work.

Ice, water and steam...all three are the same thing but with different forms and purposes.
God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit = The Trinity, three parts of the Triune Godhead, one God. NOT three Gods.

are the three components that make up the trinity.
- the three are seperate but they form one.. a body as a whole. GOD
for example.. take a blender and place strawberries, bananas, and.. mangos inside.
mix well.
the three different types of fruits are mixed to make one smoothie.. but at the same time u can still taste the strawberries, bananas, and mangos seperately.. from the distinct tastes.
so three parts to make one whole.
that's basically what the trinity is.

The Trinity is a Protestant concept, referring to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Common among Lutherans.
And, apparently we have the Thumbs Down spammer going around giving us all a bad rating, especially to the correct answers on this post. So, pal, get a damn life! I was raised in the Lutheran Church, as well as Fundamentalist Christian churches, and I SURE AS HELL know what the Trinity is. So do most of these other people. You're not proving anything by giving us all Thumbs Down, idiot!
