They are obviousley not intended to be displayed on a formal night out as a corsage would, yet...

Red~
Blue~
Green~
Pink~
Yellow~
Violet~
etc..

all somehow represent an internal order to...something
yet all I see is randomness, and this is obviously not right.

Dose anyone have any any idea?
Any opinion would be appriciated...
(Maybe theres a clue in contrasting the internal and compareatively monotote coloration of internal plantlife?)

Bravely the drops fall to ground
Thirsty and begging for ease.
Wonderful is this gift from God
Bringing us sweet release.
Long have we waited quietly
Hungering for healing rain.
He has sent this joy from Heaven
Let it wash away all earthly pain.
The drought of our souls is over.
We need not fear nor despair.
God is with His people
He will always reside and care.

I just received a letter from our pastor that the school teacher that just recently served 2 years and was convicted of intent for child molestation is returning to our church and community. His family has forgiven him and the preachers have said that he has asked for forgiveness from our loving Lord. The letter was very moving and we as church members are to welcome him with open arms. Of course he will have all of the restrictions that a child molester must endure including never teaching again. What would your reaction be to the slippery slope he started down and the amount of trust the church should allow?

I think this is an interesting question because it only applies to a certain kind of person. Roman Cathloics who are willing to follow the churches rules regarding birth control, but when it comes down to it, turn around and get abortions.

Do you think it's wrong for me to blame the pope for these abortions? He is the leader of that orgainization, and I believe rules like this are up to him to decide. Another reason for this is that the Cathloic church orgainizes medical care is many parts of the developing world. Since this is the case, the medical treatment that the people in these areas recieve doesn't include proper birth control advice and access to materials. This is also the popes fault in my opinion. I am fairly sure he has the power to change this situation. With a few words he could begin to fix many of the worlds problems, the african AIDS crisis, overpopulation etc...

It seems quite discompassionate to me. I understand this policy is based on a religious text

I want a BASIC understanding of the contents of the quran, probably without reading the whole thing. Do you know of any easy-to-read versions in English that explains basic beliefs, such as how one should behave and things like that? Or another reliable written source for such information? What parts of the koran do you recommend somebody start with to get a good idea of what it contains?

(I do not want to convert to or from any religion, so please no comments from anybody about this).

For instance, I daydream a lot, and if I have a daydream about something concerning a specific person, that daydream will happen to a degree. Such as, if I have a daydream that I will have a specific conversation with someone I usually do not see, I will have some sort of contact with that person. Or, once I had a daydream that my cousin got stabbed, (do not know why), but the next day his friend was stabbed in the hand. I am trying to direct my daydreams to see what happens. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it just coincidence?

I live in France, and when I see Mormon missionaries, they all wear that tag with their name, and 98% have the title "elder".

But most of them are so young! I have formal knowledge of English, and don't really know habits common in American churches, and something strikes me as wrong. I'd normally think that elder would be a title given to senior church members, not students still wet between the ears.

So I wonder : to what kind of people is that title given?
a) It is no indication of seniority and is given to anybody who has graduated from sunday school?
b) It is a title given to missionaries?
c) It does mark seniority because missionary work is a fast track to rise in the church?
d) something else of which I could not think.

The Vatican has over 50 miles of secret documents that cannot be viewed by the Public.

For a Christian, Moral, Entity why so much secrecy? Would releasing all these documents show the Church to be no more than a Propaganda machine?

What are you looking for? Is this a 'virtual arena' substituting for your rage that you want to manifest physically..by hitting or beating someone....but can not or are really a timid type person? Are you really 15 years old and know it all? Are you 40 years old and don't want to have to answer for all the screwed up things you did/do?

Is it just plain fun to hate? Or to hate a croup or groups of people?

Do you ask questions so new people will run out of answer allowance?

Is it just a race for points and spirituality is just a sign on the door?

Are you just looking for someone to bash, like they did to you when you were in school?

Do I annoy you?

I just want to debate. I read what you say. I look it up. I see other possibilities listed alongside. I say those. I am bashed. Why?

For example, when I was a very new convert I tried to share my beliefs with my family. They are Christian, but didn't just say, "No, we don't believe what you're saying." but they said, "No, we don't believe what you're saying, and we don't believe you know what you're saying. We don't want it even discussed in our presence." They rejected the message, and almost the messenger.
Since all who haven't had the opportunity to hear the Gospel on earth will have the opportunity to hear it on the other side, wouldn't it have been better if I had never said anything to my family? I mean, what's the point of risking someone's eternal future? If they hear it here, and don't accept it, but accept it on the other side, they aren't eligible for the Celestial Kingdom anyway, right? So what's the point? At least if they accept it on the other side without ever having heard it here, they could attain the Celestial Kingdom. Members, what do you think?
