What an interesting man. His predictions sure make a lot more sense than that nonsense in Revelations.

No there will never be, and shouldn't be a religion that has anything to do with Nostradamus. Don't be missled by all the hype about his predictions coming true, the man made tens of thousands of predictions and only a very small persentage of them were correct. You can do the same thing that he did, so get going with it, make some predictions, and maybe some day some body will start a religion about you.

Sure. THere just needs to be some "disciples" who will write a book about him being the True Human Mouthpiece of God. I figure they'll have some trouble competing with the whole crucifixion part, that really got Jesus huge sympathy points...and the "God-impregnating-virgin" schtick had been done even before Mary (i.e. Greek/Roman mythology). But I'm sure fiction writers today are talented enough to come up with something even more "amazing" than those novelists (short story writers?) back in the early centuries A.D.!! All it takes is the will to exploit and manipulate the masses. Just look at L.Ron Hubbard...and I'm not even sure if he was even trying to start a religion.
Also, wasnt Nostradamus more specific in his prophecies? Much more so than the vague references in the Bible, I'm guessing.

No.
Everyone thinks he's a crack pot since the earth was never destoryed in 2000. But if u think about it maybe he ment we as humans will destory our selves without God's help. With N. Korea making a nuclear bomb I think the armagaten is soon to come. Especialy with the bad news of the guy representing them at the U.N. leaving. But I can understand them calling bush a bully. I do think bush is making too big of a deal. Besides as for the Iran's there President looks like a nice enough fellow. From what is sounds like he just want electricity for his small country. Sheesh I think too much.

Nostradamus had a religion....He was a Christian.
In fact, in a letter to his son Cesar he wrote,
“…bear in mind that the events here described have not yet come to pass, and that all is ruled and governed by the power of Almighty God, inspiring us not by bacchic frenzy nor by enchantments but by astronomical assurances: predictions have been made through the inspiration of divine will alone and the spirit of prophecy in particular.” “Since governments, sects and countries will undergo such sweeping changes, diametrically opposed to what now obtains, that were I to relate events to come, those in power now – monarchs, leaders of sects and religions – would find these so different from their own imaginings that they would be led to condemn what later centuries will learn how to see and understand. Bear in mind also Our Saviour’s words: Do not give anything holy to the dogs, nor throw pearls in front of the pigs lest they trample them with their feet and turn on you and tear you apart.”
He also wrote in his famous letter to King Henri II, that “the beginning of the seventh millennium” would be the time “when the adversaries of Jesus Christ and his Church shall begin to multiply more vigorously…”

Since his death Nostradamus prophecies have rarely been out of print, and a cult like religious following has oft occured. But I find Popish mention of a 'third millennium' and Nostradamus' mention of a 'seventh millennium' are a give aways such like, which many are deceived by, failed to notice there's no biblical mention of "evening and morning" on the "seventh day", is also the "third day" in John 1 & 2:1 when counting the days therein (let him that hath understanding count).
As for Nostradamus "prophecies", the Bible notes: "whether prophecies, they shall fail" (1Cor 13:8), with those in Jonah's Great Fish Story being biblical example of prophecies failing.
As for Revelation, which defines itself as "prophecy" seven times therein, it's allegorically Pauline written as a "worse"-end state of man scenario mentioned in Matthew 12:45; By having mention of "seven spirits". However Mary Magdelene had "seven" cast out of her, which shld give hope even to a worse-end state of man. Not to mention the woman caught in adult-ery and brought for judgment is 2nd uprising judge told: "neither do I condemn(law) you, go and sin(law) no more". Not to mention the word "worst" is not mentioned at all in the NT of the Bible ends well for you all:
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

I thought there was. Kind of like there's a religion devoted to Elvis. Maybe it's not a formal one (the FBI would surround the compound and shoot people), but hey, it's there.
You tithe when you buy Nostradamus products. You worship when you solemnly nod and explain about the blue turban when someone tells you that the endtimes are here.

You are joking , right ? No,He was a mystic, totally against God.
Not even a fair question, name me one of his quatrains, that can be used for reference. The only thing I see is a way to make money, books movies and the like.He was intelligent enough,He
understood it was necessary to be clean, the plaque was spreading due to filth, aside from that there are no miracles, a
major requirement to base a religion, man has twisted his words to suit us i.e. Histor was Hitler no, Histor was a river,The New City
people have twisted to mean N.Y.etc. Nothing religious ,not a
single thing for reference.

The bible was given us by God and it is the only book we need.
It has prophecys that are about to be fulfilled very close to bible prophecy's that were fulfilled in the past. The bible is much more accurate than Nostradamus.
It tells about the end of false religion>
Which is very soon to take place.
Revelation 17:14 Whom does the harlot represent?
She exerts influence over the kings of the earth? She dresses in purple, uses incense, and is exceeding wealthy.
In addition, by means of her spiritistic practice all the nations are misled. The bible helps us to see that this harlot is a world wide religious entity. She depicts not any one religion, but all religions that produce rotten fruit.

Probably not. You see, Nostradamus
failed to hang around with a lot of young virgins,
most of the texts concerning his theories
and predictions were self written, not
recorded by recognized scribes of the time,
and Nostradamus didn't like to ride around on
a donkey very much.
