Would people volunteer to live under biblical law? I mean were you get stoned for adultery and you have to marry your rapist? Or were women have no rights? They can't learn without permission or speak? Is that cool with some people?

OK, so I can understand those on here who bait Christians incessantly. The barrell just has far too many ducks in it. I was one (a duck, so to speak) once, and I was pretty insufferable, so I'd have understood if you'd baited me.

But baiting just scores pointless non-points. It's not really satisfying in the long run.

Mind you, seriously engaging evangelical Christians in debate can also be a very non-rewarding experience. It's like the two sides don't even have a language in common.

Isn't there some way atheists and Christians can... communicate? without pissing each other off so totally?

If an all knowing, all powerful being created me,(according to religions), then it stands to reason that this God also knew I would be an atheist, it also stand to reason that he deliberately created me to be an atheist, therefore, since he created me with perfect foreknowledge of my becoming atheist, wouldn't it be immoral and even sinfully wrong for this god to punish me for his crime?

Why is it so shocking to find out that there are many forms of Spiritual Atheism? Spirituality does not imply belief in god, but belief in one's own spirit and the practices and art of nurturing of it. For example, Jainism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism and so on. It has nothing to do with the invisible skydaddy.
