The Best Question I have seen on here in a while!!Exactly! This is exactly why people do not want to be in a relationship with God.What they do realize is God knows we sin and he sent his Son who paid the price of forgiveness for our sins.God just simply ask us to believe in him and then we are forgiven.I could not live a day without God.So my lifestyle really don't matter.PEACE AND GOOD QUESTION!!!

I'm not afraid to believe in God. I believed in God before. I don't believe in God because I don't feel that he exists at all. However, I do like my lifestyle as a free woman, but I'm still a very moral person with my own politics. What does it matter to you? Worry about yourself.

"Afraid" is a word that I do not use about anything. Fear is used by religions to gain compliance, so I can understand why you would view it that way. However, if you had undeniable proof for me and I converted....nothing in my life would need to change. My lifestyle is far more moral and based on principles than any xtians I know. Your question is a perfect example of ppl believing that there is no goodness or morality outside of their god/religion.
I'm a stay at home mom and sucessfully homeschool 3 children.
I voluteer with my children at the local food bank, senior center and homeless shelter
I donate blood and bone marrow.
I donate $ to charities that do not require conversion for aid.
I do not lie, cheat, steal or kill.
I do not rape the environment by believing that I have "dominion" over it. I recycle, reuse and reduce.
I am happily and faithfully married to the man of my dreams.
I do not wallow in ignorance.
I eat right, exercise and maintain my wonderfully evolved body.
I keep my thoughts and words in order and do not gossip.
I participate in civic organizations and vote.
Are you afraid to NOT believe in god because it would mean that you would have to be accountable and responsible for yourself with no safety nets and no scapegoats?

I have never heard of anyone who was "afraid" to believe in God. I don't even know how that would work. Some believe, others don't, others are believers with doubts, and yet others don't think there's a way to draw a conclusion one way or the other. How would fear enter into any of those pictures?

Giving up my current lifestyle would assume there is something wrong with it and I should go towards something right. Who are you to suggest that my belief in my God is wrong.
Secondly, how do you propose that we see that your God has set up the right way to live.
Thirdly, even IF your God set the correct path, you are assuming people knows the correct way to live but instead they keep their own lifestyle. What people are not aware of something outside of their liftstyle, they wouldnt know to deviate from their lifestyle. Remember, that is IF there is a God to set the correct path.

My intellect precludes belief in non-existent entities, some of which include Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Martians, Gods, Bigfoot, Monsters under the bed or in the closet and too many more to list.
It's not a choice and wouldn't affect my lifestyle at all.

I'm not afraid to believe in /god, thats silly. I just don't believe in him because the idea makes no sense to me, I see no evidence for god, I don't see why he is necessary and I can see nothing good whatsoever that is found only in people who believe in god.

I wouldn't call that being afraid of God, but afraid of accepting Him as the Lord of one's life. At any rate, if one feels that way about their lifestyle, they must have problems with it in their own minds, and should ask if they should change for that reason alone. JMO

I don't beleave in god because i don't see how any of the biblical things the bible speaks of can be true. Nothing can be proved. Nothing can hardly even be found.
Sorry, I'm not scared to change any lifestyle for a culture i don't believe in.
