Assume your congregation is losing members or at least potential recruits, because, well, their potato salad is better.

Please if you may, state whether you are an Atheists or a theist (even your religion if you want)

And tell me whether you’re willing to accept the possibility (not the actuality) that a Creator of the Universe may or may not exist. And if possible also why.

""Psychologists have demonstrated time and time again that one's beliefs show very little correlation with one's actions."

So you are arguing that all the atheists are going to church and praising God while all the theists are staying home Sunday watching the big game on TV? Fascinating."

If that were the case, it would be a VERY strong NEGATIVE correlation... .not a lack of a correlation.

I wish people would get an education before they try to take me on.

In Matthew, there's a scripture that says that 'Elijah came back to earth as John the Baptist, but that no one recognized him as being Elijah reincarnated. Can anyone give me their opinion on this and even tell me exactly WHERE in Matthew it is?

BELIEF or ACTION?

Psychologists have demonstrated time and time again that one's beliefs show very little correlation with one's actions.

But nevermind the science behind it, we all know people who don't believe in "god" and "religion" yet live good moral lives...

and we all know people who do believe in "god" and "religion" yet live lives that are filled with hate and destruction.

So, which is better?
The person who does the right thing without sharing your religious belief
Or
The person who does the wrong things but agrees with your dogma

?

Christians, it's like asking what's more important:
1) Not being a sinner
2) Being a believer

and no, they are NOT the same. Look around your world for clues if you don't understand why.

Christianity is based on the teaching of Christ, Christ is spoken of in the Old testament as the Messiah, Christianity isn't made up its proven valid by Jewish prophecy, where ar therre is no Prophecy for Mohammed , many muslims point to fist John and say look Jesus said someone else is coming. NO pagans that was John to baptist speaking of Jesus, also ALLAH IS NOT GOD, ask any Arab what God they worshiped befoore Islam and guess what its still Allah, But to rrap it up, My God isnt a Idol and he doesnt want mme bowing to any, all of the old testament shows that, but MUSLIMS BOW TO A STONE 5 TIMES A DAY. in Mecca in the temple called the Kabba, inside a black box, is their allah its a stone and I have Pic's http://www.freewebs.com/king_of_crusade

I assume he made them with an empty stomach.

So they ate.

Now, as soon as the food was digested it began to change the chemical compositions of their bodies, proteins were added, etc.

Since perfection is a static state, and to alter it is to reduce its "perfectness" - can we say that as soon as Adam digested his food he no longer posessed a perfect body since his body was no longer exactly the one God had given him?

"Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members in one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful."
