Most people didn't even believe him when he was on earth, so if he were to come nowadays, i don't think anyone would believe him. it would be so hard to tell with all the con-men, visual effects, and media coverage; people would always be second guessing the truth.

The Christians would call him the Antichrist.
The Pagans would recognize him as the Messiah, for we are actually spiritually in tune.

Jesus not telling to everybody saying "I am here now and you all kneel to me" he only preaching the Kingdom of God. He didn't force you if you don't believed him preaching about the Kingdom of God and the miracles works that he did before. BUT remember what he say "BEFORE ABRAHAM I AM"
