Well, I'm Christian and find that my religion does stand to logic. I've found that fundamentalist Christianity (take the Bible literally word for word) does not stand up very well to logic. I don't think that religions necessarily defy reason and logic, they can actually go very well with it. When I consider this world and all the amazing things in it, I don't see how it all just happened, I believe that there is a God.

Because God does not exist.
Sun worship is more logical that worshiping the God of the bible. The Sun actually does something useful and is necessary to support life as we know it.
The Biblical God serves no such purpose since he doesn't exist in the first place.

This is a blanket statement. Yes, there are some religious people that are radical in their beliefs and don't apply logic to anything they say or think. But there are also a lot of religious/spiritual people who constantly think about their beliefs and faith. Be careful not to generalize too much.

generally, religion will tend NOT to be able to stand in the face of reasonable logic...
otherwise faith wouldn't be called faith...
it would be called fact.
the issue is can man find a crossroad or a junction where
faith/religion would be able to meet or intersect with reason/logic

Try again and this time phrase your question so it makes sense. We can understand what you are trying to say and you may have some intelligent thought there but check your grammar before you submit things.

You have something repeated so many times its second nature. It takes a unique individual to self reflect and say , "This can't be true."
So many sheep and not enough leaders.
