my aunt lives with my mom, and my aunt takes her sabbath day on saturdays where she does absolutely nothing, but the problem is that she will cook a meal and leave a whole sink full of dirty dishes. and my mom is a clean freak and will have to do my aunts dishes.
my mom understands about her taking her sabbath day but she shouldn't cook and leave all the dishes for my mom to do. and then she will go to church on sundays and cooks then too and my mom will have to clean up her mess on sundays also.

what i want to know is anywhere in the bible states that if u are going to make a mess clean it up after yourself even on sabbath day and sundays.
my aunt has no other life but staying at home , reading her bible, watching preachers on t.v and going to the doctors and sometimes walking to the store oh and going to church on wed. and sun. so doesn't she pretty much take a sabbath day everyday, i just want to know what the bible says about that.

I read some question that said it's a good choice to believe in god because if he does exist he will burn all the people that didn't believe in him for all of eternity.

Why would God torture people if they don't believe? I mean it sounds a bit cruel to don't you think?

Why create something if you 'know' that you will hate it so much that you would want it to endure pain for all eternity?

This belief seems really twisted to me, how many people believe in this?

That has happened like 3 times today now. I'm not a fast typist, so it takes me a few minutes to answer a question. I just wrote a long answer to that chick with the Mormon question and the dork deleted it. I mean some of the answers where like awful mean, but I think you should just suck it up.

Imagine for a moment you're hanging over a precipice...
In one of your hands you hold your child. In the other, a whole group of children you've never met (remember this is hypothetical!)
to save one or the other you need both hands....
who do you let fall?

Relativsim is nothing new. The ancient Greek philospher Heraclitus said, "No one ever steps into the same river twice, for fresh waters are ever upon him." This indicates the constant change that permeates our existnece. But if everything is in flux (changing), then nothing stays the same. All is relative to the way things are at the moment. How can any value be absolute?

God's word says we shall not worship any other than him. Then I'm told to accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and saviour? I can accept the saviour part. It specifically says not to worship ANYONE other that God. And if Jesus is the son of God, how can he be lord? It makes no sense. How can Jesus be lord and be the son of the lord at the same time? And how can you only worship the lord but also worship jesus? Somebody please LOGICALLY explain this to me. Thanks

Which would mean that God must be something and something must have been around before God... but if he's nothing, then how did he create the universe which is something?
