Now please people tell me how islam is a peaceful religion. I here muslums saying how they dont believe in violence it's a bunch of crap. I just want to get your pont of view on this I asked this qus already.

Sura 8.12 "Remember thy lord has inspired the angels with the message. Give firmness to the believers and instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite them above their necks and smite the fingertips of them."

If you look at history you can is it is a violent religion that trys to get converts anyway possible. Even during the time of Mohamed when he was forced into exile to Madina he got a group of followers and decleared war on Mecca. What better way then to inspire his army then through god him self. Islam was spread through the Sword but it would be ignerent for me not to say the same thing about Christanity, but there is one difference Islam is not stoping it's violent ways. Christianity did stop and is now trying win converts through peace and not violence. No I am not a Christen

believers do not only means non muslims. at dat time der was only dis religeon islam n othrs use 2 worship idols n indulge demselves in evil n all dose who were wrong n evil were non muslims or rather unbelievers n dese refers 2 dem. but now which war tuk place dats makin so many people 2 embrace islam. n if u think dey accept islam under pressure den y r dey still intact 2 islam even in d absence of force. u me n everybody knows dat islam is d fastest spreadin religeon

let me be the first to tell you that Islam does not mean peace.nor is Islam a religion of peace until you submit fully,your will to that of the creator.peace was not decreed in anything except submission to the will of God.now,i will tell you this.why should we be nonviolent in the face of violence?we are not ghandis we are Muslim.and the law of Islam is an eye for an eye.you dont like it,dont put your hands on me.violence is a good thing if it means protecting your life,deen,property,family..i could go on.and if your trying to make Christianity look nonviolent then you need try no longer.its not working.those verses you quoted come from your Lord,who will not play with you on that day.and Hell is waiting for those who think Muslims dish the most violence.it is Allah who will punish like no other can punish,on that day.read the old testament.you will see the turn the other cheek thing is something not brought by Allah's prophets or Allah Himself.it reads death for the apostate,death for the adulterer, death for the one who opposes the prophets.its in your own book.so enough hypocrisy.no wonder you guys are coming to Islam in droves.one day you will submit.willingly or unwillingly.and in the end He will tell you the truth of all..all that you did.any Muslim who does not believe in violenc does not accept the quran.'fasting was prescribed for you' 'fighting was prescribed for you' both are in the Quran but how many fast and how many do jihad?

You can find a lot of violence in the Bible also, but on a verse-percentage basis, Islam easily takes the violent cake.
