Non-religious, because religious people are less concerned about being accused of sinning or being more evil.

OK....trying to answer as if I didn't know the asker already... =)
I'd assume the person asking was non-religious, because the religious people tend to think the non-religious are much more evil, and have no morals with which to guide them. The fact that "the person" would even suggest that atheists and christians could be equal in any way would lead me to believe the asker was definitely NOT a christian. =)

Interpretation can be influenced by ones life experiences. For instance, I could make a nice, innocent comment and someone may interpret as an attack, a religious comment, sarcasm etc. So the real question is what Darwin intended. Being that we know his life and his experience, yes I believe her was eluding to that.

I don't think there's any way to know, but I kinda assumed the person was Atheist, just because most Christians would not be open-minded enough to ask that question.

What has that got to do with the question?
It is about sin and as long as you or I go against the laws of nature and GOD we are all sinners.
What does it have to do with asking a question?
I am confused.

By the wording of the question one cannot definitively tell if the asker is christian or non-christian.

I'm guessing non-religious. But I could be wrong.
