The whole concept is too bizarre for me to think about.

Killing any living thing is considered to be a sin if not murder. Many times, we humans justify one sort of killings and criticize some other killings simply because it profits us to do so. I believe that any thing that lives does have a soul, whether or not that living being can think for itself or not. So following this rationale, even clones are living beings created by humans if not God. And since no human can really see or hear or feel the soul, how do we tell that a clone doenst have one. Murder is defined when it is legally wrong to kill a living being. But even if it is legally allowed to kill clones, which would mean it cannot be preluded to be a murder, it would definately be a sin.

Since clones do not have souls, it may be on par with killing an animal and that is illegal in some cases. A clone would probably be given rights in this country if they ever made one but I don't think it will be allowed. That is some serious business trying to take creation away from God. You can't.

Well, a human clone is still a human only it has the same genetics as its original, so killing the clone is essentially like killing an identical twin (don't identical twins have souls?). But if you want to make this about abortion then you have to ask, should we let people get involved in fertility practices that would involve the termination of "non-viable" fetal cells?

A cloned human is still a human. a baby is still a human. Killing them is wrong. if you need spare parts and decide to clone. I can only say that once it becomes anything at all more than a couple of bunched up cells, it is a human.

Murdering a developed clone is still murder. A clone is a genetically identical person to the donor, but they are individual persons of their own. No doubt who will develop likes and dislikes of their own, dreams of their own, and lives entirely their own.

If a clone were to live God would be the only One who could give it life. So if God give's it life and someone were to take it away- yes, it's murder.

Just look at the terror in the eyes of the clone before you pull the trigger (or however you kill them) and you should be able to answer this yourself.

as a scientist, i have to agree that the taking of a human life IS MURDER, unless that person is being punished for crimes that warrant the death penalty.
even clones, should have the basic rights. having a belly button should not determine if you have rights or not.

Of course, it's murder and it wouldn't be OK. But there are no human clones yet.

Since cloning humans isn't possible yet, it isn't murder any more than using embryos for stem cell research is murder.
