i dont know what you are trying to say, but think on this:

al capone, bonnie and clyde, billy the kid, john dillinger and many other EXTREMELY violent and deadly people were looked at as local heros, not unlike babrabbus.

Pilate washed his hands because there was nothing else he could do...if he hadn't given in, there would have been a riot.
The question for me was...why were the Jews so willing to free a murderer?
I found a book, "The Book of Barabbas-Searching for the Messiah" that really made me think about this stuff. Ms. Wilson answered alot of questions I had. Of course, the book is fiction, but, when you read it, you think it really could have happened just that way. It's one of the best books I ever read, and I'm not much into "Christian Fiction"...you'd never know this was written by a woman, this gal writes like a man...
"The Book of Barabbas-Finding Salvation" should be out soon...and I'll be first on the waiting list to buy it!
(I got mine at Amazon.com, but I've found it in all the internet book stores I know of.)

The Pharisees and the Sadducee's were the ones that wanted Jesus dead. They were jealous of Him. When they offered to set Jesus free. There were people out there that was paid to shout crucify Jesus. Cries of a few will turn people towards their way. Roman soldiers were there to put Him on the cross. Pilot is in Hell right now still washing his hands and saying he is done with the matter.

Jesus, being God in the flesh, is not a Jew. Only His flesh was Jewish.
If you think about it, the Jews had tossed God off of the throne back in the days of Samuel...and God told Samuel that they had rejected Him from being King over them, a mistake they've been paying for ever since.
I think a huge part of the point is that God came to His chosen people, and they rejected Him, as He knew they would do.
Those who try to say that the Jews had no right to put a man to death are technically correct...that is why the Jewish priesthood brought pressure on Pilate to force him to sign the order condemning Him to death.
It was the Romans He forgave, from the cross, by the way, because they truly did not know what they were doing....

Yes Jesus was Jewish. To be exact he was a Nazarene. The jews who wanted him dead were all Jews who had high positions that he had been preaching against because they were perverting the scriptures and teaching others false doctrine. Pilate may have washed his hands of the whole thing but I believe he had culpability. He could have stopped the crucifixition but he chose not to because he was afraid of the power of the Jewish clery with regards to Caesar. So essentially he took the easy road. He will be held accountable.

You apparently don't have a Bible of your own or won't read it, so I'll let you in on a Biblical and historic fact: the Jews could not by law execute anyone. Only the Romans could execute Jesus or anyone else under Roman occupation. Jesus was executed by Romans, crucified as a capital criminal under Roman law and jurisdiction. So if you want to hate Jews for whatever retarded notions you've been brainwashed with (do you even personally know any Jews there Heinrich?) don't do it for Jesus' execution because he was crucified by ROMANS, not JEWS.

No one killed Christ. Christ gave up his life on the cross. The jewish religious leaders of the time wanted Him dead and the roman soldiers were vicious in his punishment but no human could kill Him let alone harm him unless he submitted to it and allowed it.

The Crusifiction story is very clear that Christ released His Spirit from His body.

The body infact nevered died but was simply vacant of Spirit/life.

Maybe the point is His own people turned on him. The most important thing to remember is Christ died to save us from our own sins and even he said "forgive them father for they know not what they do"

everyone played their part in something that needed fullfilled .. if they hadnt then Jesus would not be seen as the saviour
you think that God/Jesus didnt know what was to happen if you truly believe it did
so we should punish and hate those that had a very important role in christianity ?

p.s i am not a christian but even i see this
