I think the greatest thing I've learned is the many different points of view that people have on a plethora of subjects.I'll use your other question that led me to this one for example.I have never contemplated the possibility that there could be a link between peoples spiritual beliefs and right/left brain activity. That question made me think, which is one of the only reasons I participate in YA.I enjoy helping people who have similar interests to mine but the human psyche intrigues me greatly.I often observe peoples behavior in everyday life to learn more about being human.I've learned far less tangible fact than the nature of how people think and what they perceive as the truth.
Furthermore I would never give a person thumbs down for the length of the question or answer.I base my ratings on the quality and content.I don't always rate questions but always answers.I've also learned that many users simply copy and paste the exact same answer and site for everything.I report those people directly to YA because that's completely senseless.Especially when no answer preceeds the web site(I belive I may have had as many as 5 people suspended this month). So I've also learned that points are all that some people come here for and care about(lame).
Sometimes my answers(like here) are very long because of the complexity of the question. That's my take...Joe

I try to give short, straight to the point answers because I really dislike the long ones. Especially copy/paste. I refuse to read it.
What I've learned from this site is that there are a lot of wonderful, intelligent and insightful people in this world. And I'm happy to be among all of you.

Yes, especially if it's copy and paste scripture. If I wanted to read all that, I have a bible on my desk, I'd look it up myself.
I've learned alot from this site, all kinds of things about what other religions believe. And I kinda enjoy reading the fundy answers, they're frustrating, but amusing....and kinda scary too =)

That truth is not relative in any meaningful way.
The fact that everyone on here wants to know the truth about many different issues and ideas proves that there is an objective truth all humans are searching for, whether we realize it or not.
