Ok, let's look at this. I'm going to use christianity merely as an example.
Evolution : Begs to be proven wrong with scientific proof.
Christianity : Uses belief of faith to create it's own proof, does not accept scientific proof as proof.
Evolution : Not considered truth, merely the most plausable.
Christianity : Considered truth to those who hold faith.
Evolution : Doesn't prove any sense of an afterlife.
Christianity : Deals with afterlife.
Evolution : Doesn't offer any ideals or morals (MAIN RELIGIOUS QUALIFICATION)
Christianity : Sins and Salvation.
Evolution : Taught as a theory, and said not to be proven.
Christianity (in christian schools) : Taught as truth with no proof other than circular reasoning.
Am I missing something? I understand that faith is required, but why not outlaw history since faith that the written is true is required, which is proven not always to be correct.
