After my last question, someone told me that the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy.
QUESTION:
What can I do to foil his dastardly plans?
Also, why does the devil wear a red Leotard? I figured it was for freedom of movement...BUT could it also be something sexual...like showing off his "package"...you know....down THERE?

The "devil" you describe is a medieval creation based on the Greek god Dionysus, the goat god that loved to party.
He is red to represent fire which was a creation of Dante and his inferno.
Satan of the old testament was sort of God's District Attorney.

You should discuss this with President Hugo Chavez of Venezula...he seems to think he knows just who this devil is...he's quite certain of it and has spoken of it to some of the world peace keeping leaders.
Don't know about the red leotards thing tho...I always thought that was a Halloween joke...but you might have something about the "package" thing there. Maybe Chavez had the same idea from a UPI photo published some time ago.

There is a glimmer of truth buried in your silly statement. The Devil comes in many guises. Some people purposely follow him and others do so unwittingly. Don't be guilty of either.

The image of satan with the red leotard and pitchfork is an artist's creation. Satan was the most beautiful of all created beings, second in power only to God. But he wanted more, and lost it all through his sin and rebellion. He wants to take all of humanity with him. Only in Christ are you free of his lies and deceptions.
