Ok, let's look at this. I'm going to use christianity merely as an example.
Evolution : Begs to be proven wrong with scientific proof.
Christianity : Uses belief of faith to create it's own proof, does not accept scientific proof as proof.
Evolution : Not considered truth, merely the most plausable.
Christianity : Considered truth to those who hold faith.
Evolution : Doesn't prove any sense of an afterlife.
Christianity : Deals with afterlife.
Evolution : Doesn't offer any ideals or morals (MAIN RELIGIOUS QUALIFICATION)
Christianity : Sins and Salvation.
Evolution : Taught as a theory, and said not to be proven.
Christianity (in christian schools) : Taught as truth with no proof other than circular reasoning.
Am I missing something? I understand that faith is required, but why not outlaw history since faith that the written is true is required, which is proven not always to be correct.

So defending that history is correct makes it a religion.

BoredomStrikes : Show me the scientific proof of god. Show me the scientific proof that Jesus is the son of god. Show me scientific proof that hell exists. Because I see a glaring lack of those.

This demonstrates the basic problem with trying to compare evolution to Creationism or anything else biblical or religious. It's not even apples and oranges. It's apples and trucks. There is no comparison. That's why the basic premise of many Creationists ("evolution's flawed, so therefore Creationism must be taught as a viable alternative") is so off-base. You're trying to compare a viable scientific theory with what is essentially a narrative. Conversely, suggesting that evolution has religious aspects is also ridiculous, simply because its adherents don't have "faith" that it is correct, but rather they have some pretty compelling evidence that it is true. There is a HUGE difference.

Evolution is not a religion.
Evolution is a theory which means that it is not the truth. Theories are scientific suppositions (guesses) that are constantly changing and being argued for and against, even amongst other evolutionists. The way that people get fixated on their theory, however, is tatamount to idolatry and thus a possible reason why some people refer to "evolution" as a religion.

Evolution is not a religion, you are correct. It was in its inception, and is to this present hour, an opposition to the doctrine of creation with the intent to say that there is no God. You could say that it is an "anti-religion." But it would be more correct to say that it is antichrist. This is evidenced by the fact that nearly every person posting in this forum that is opposed to Christ and God and Christianity is also pro-evolution.

Evolution can be a religion if it rules your life. Evolution can be a religion if is based on faith. (such as cells come from cells, but I do not know where the first one comes from... must be an accident ..... I have no prove i.e. faith)

Yeah, you're REALLY missing something....like about 100 IQ points. Evolution is not a religion, it is a scientifically based proven fact.

Religion is more of a practice that incorporates a belief. While evolutionists my have faith, they certainly do not practice that faith by morphing into more advanced creatures.

You messed up your first point...
Evolution: Has been disproved using scientific evidence.
Christianity: Uses faith and scientific proof in unison.
