Jesus didn't have a Democracy to look at or see so He could not comment on it. But there is something better than a Democracy. It is the form of govt the USA is under, a Republic. A Republic is more Representative of the people in a more fair way. But a Republic can only work if the people are under laws made from judeo/christian values. Man is not perfect and must have constraints. The natural progression of govts is to decay from a republic to a democracy to socialism to tyranny. It is what happened to Greece then Rome. We in the US are headed that way if we don't learn by history and maintain our republic.

The fact that Jesus did not call for the Jews to replace their monarchy with a democracy proves only that Jesus wasn't perfect.
It does not prove that democracy is a bad idea.

Jesus is for a Theocracy, of which he is King. The Kingdom of God.
Democracy is shown to be the clay mixed with iron that is in Daniels description of a statue he saw in a dream.
There is more to the clay mixed with iron than what I can write here.
It is interesting to know what the Bible really thinks of democracy

Who cares! That was then, this is now. Where in our Democracy did we call for Jesus? God, maybe, but not Jesus, And it doesn't have to be Jesus's Father either . It can be each religion's God, or none at all if we so choose.

Jesus didn't live under a King, but under the rules of life in Israel, His only ruler was his Heavenly Father, who even oppose the Israelites having a King, but they were determined. They had to have a symbol, just like they had to have a physical symbol of God at the foot of Mount Sinai.
God had always said that man cannot rule himself, but we refuse to learn. When we finally learn that lesson, it will be too late, because by then he will be destroying the governments of man, and all those involved with them, whatever their self-professed religion.

The Bible never speaks of Democracy because it didn't matter at that point.
The Bible is the Record of God seeking to Redeem Fallen Man back to Himself !

He didn't. He merely believed that all people are valuable and should be taken care of. That's not democracy. It's socialism.
