I just tell them thank you, but I am not interested. Then they will continue to throw bible verses at me and tell me I need to be saved.
Why do people have to force their religion down other's throats? I don't need that mumbo jumbo. I believe in myself and I strive to be a good person.

Cause you see my neighbor the jerk with the roving garden gnomes one day he yells at me for nothing and several days later he gets chewed up by two rottweilers who happened to find their way into his back yard...God's wrath perhaps?

How would the world react if one day in the morning GOD took the TV channels and started talking to us? Do you think that will ever happen in our life time? Or ever at all?

Consider the design components of your arm:
1. Constructed of 31 bones and no less than 50 muscles which all must act in symphony as a functional unit.
2. Capable of limited self-repair, maintenance, and growth.
3. Capable of exerting force in a wide degree of motion, including: push, pull, torque, flexion, extension and such, all from muscle contraction.
4. Able to perform a wide variety of tasks, including playing the piano and weight lifting.
5. The substance that is responsible for this movement (muscle) is self-powered, having no peer in the engineering/design world.
6. This design doesn't deal well with changes to its blueprint, as changes to a single enzyme can destroy the entire system:
http://www.neurology.org/cgi/content/abstract/62/6/994
7. Most mind-boggling of all, 100% of this design is somehow encoded into 4 complex bioacids (DNA).
In light of this evidence, why should I believe that the arm is the result of unintelligent chaos, rather than Intelligent Design?

I don't see him as God like you people or else I would follow him. To me he's just another L. Ron Hubbard. You're asking me to have blind faith but I might as well have blind faith in some other cult.

It seems as though any time a topic comes up regarding Mormonism (among a few others), people have these pre-prepared essays as responses. That seems odd to me. Are there just a few people out there that are obsessed due to fear or anger, or is it a larger issue?

I've heard a lot of explanations that creationists have for the term "theory", all of them come from a position of ignorance or just plain stupidity.
Here is an explanation, in the simplest terms ( just for you creationists, I know we have to keep things VERY simple for you) of the word, 'theory';
A theory is an explanation. The validity of a theory rests upon its ability to explain phenomena. Theories may be supported, rejected, or modified, based on new evidence. Gravitational theory, for example, attempts to explain the nature of gravity. Cell theory explains the workings of cells. Evolutionary theory explains the history of life on Earth.

So you see that there are no laws in Science. Even gravity has no law. (Newton wrote his own "laws" but they are not accepted by modern scientists) nor does relativity or thermodynamics. They are theories and will always remain so.
The same applies to Evolution.
That means something can be true, and a theory at the same time.
Understand?

The Bible says so:

"These things I have written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God that you may KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE..." (I John 5:13)

"And this is the record : That God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son". (I John 5:11)

-Does he have power? If so, what kind? And if he does exert his power through people does that mean ppl are not responsible for their actions?
-Doesn't it seem more like a convience that all sins equal the same except the number one commandment?
-Salem Witch Trails: Were most of the evidence just circumstantial? If the Bible says there is a such thing as witches, does that mean that people can actually have powers?

I plan to be buried in the same clothes that I was born in. They'll probably be pretty wrinkly after wearing them for so many years, I've washed them a few times but I've never ironed them. (Ouch!) I'm wondering if God or anyone in heaven is going to mind. I figure that it will make for one more outfit to donate to Goodwill or the Salvation Army and since some people have told me that where I'm actually going to end up is pretty 'damned' warm, I figure there's no point in bringing along any more clothes than are absolutely necessary.

But seriously, have you ever considered for yourself or do you know of anyone who was buried nude? Covered only with a white sheet and perhaps only with face and arms showing during the funeral and visitation? Novel? Interesting? Disgusting? Preverted? Demented?

The Atheist and Agnostic is a pawn of Satan. Now they claim computers actually talk to one another and share information. Hello? Hello Atheists and Agnostics? Computers don't talk to one another they don't mouths or lungs?

Where do they get these lies? Satan.

WHy do they lie? To seperate us from God.

Where Atheists, where is it in the Bible. Where are computers in the Bible?

If God wanted us to have computers he'd have given us instructions.

Today, in Reno, NV, the great Balloon Races are taking place. Included in the race is a Hot Air Balloon in the shape of Jesus. He appears to be perched on a cloud with his arms at his sides. There is nothing else that this balloon could be. It is deffinitly in the shape of Jesus. Being of no religion, I find this to be offensive, in the fact that it is in the sky over the entire town, being seen from everywhere in the town. If I was to go to the organizers of this event, they would do nothing. If I was to try and enter a Satan balloon, I would be rejected almost immediatly. So, why is it that the religious people can take offense to whatever they want, but us non-religious people just have to deal with all of your crap?

"Who is a liar but he that denies Jesus is the Christ. He is anti-Christ that denied the Father and the Son". (I John 2:22)

Are you a liar?

Why do people keep saying that we don’t have to follow the old testament, when Jesus followed a very large part of it & he even quotes from it & he also says he isn't here to....

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

He fulfilled the prophecies about his coming. That doesn’t mean to erase the law; there are more than the 10 we must follow. .

Yes the bible says you must believe in Jesus to come to the father, but you must hear his words in a whole.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

His blood didn't erase law. It erased sin. His death didn’t replace the laws of the Old Testament. He taught points in the bible that the old testament followers either were misinterpreting & he taught where they were not following certain laws that god gave them.

If you dispute it say what Jesus says not other prophets.

Matthew traces Jesus's lineage all the way back to Abraham, to fulfull the prophecy that the son of God was to be of the house of David. It is traced from Joseph, Mary's husband. But the story of Jesus's birth claims that Joseph was not Jesus's biological father. Why trace the lineage through him if that is the case?
