First, I am not planning on divorcing my wife now or ever; however, my marriage for the first 14 years was very unhappy. Its a long story.Staying faithful has not been easy, but I have always placed that as my highest priority. The last 6 years of my marriage has been somewhat better. With God's help, I have stayed the course and will always be here for my wife and kids until the good Lord calls me home. I realize that unfaithfullness is always a qualification for divorce. But the reality of life seems to be that many more men cheat on their wives than wives ever do on their husbands. My wife has been faithful to me. So with Gods help I must always be faithful to her. But a marriage that lacked "passion" was not what I had expected and has left me wishing for more. Counseling helped about 5 years ago. Prior to that my wife thought the problem was with me not excepting the way she wanted things to be. But the simple things I wanted were things like wanting to kiss her lips and neck. Help?

Why do so many idiots call Jews Christ killers with derision and hate when God gave his son for our salvation. Without Christs death we wouldn't have sacrifice or resurrection, key elements in Christianity. Seems to me like whatever role the Jews might have played in Christs death was exactly what God wanted.

I dont understand it... why the peoples kill eachother?
what means? your God! what means my God?
God is not belonging to somebody.
We are all the peoples belonging to Him.
I thing this is War of theyr egos.

Just a thought as all religions cannot be right as they mostly claim only one god. Inknow lots will write and say there is only one true god and that is Jesus etc etc. But that is not the question. The question is - what if you are wrong? Just for a brief moment, contemplate that you may be wrong - people thought the world was flat; they thought the sun rotated round the earth; people thought you would black out if you went above 20mph. They were wrong you could be too. And as i said it is impossible for all of you to be right! So come on imagine, free thinkers unite, open your minds to every possibility. (I know i will get a lot of I am not wrong, there is only one god stuff - but it is worth a try)

If Jews were originally Semitic or Middle Eastern, and they lived in Europe for a couple thousand years, that means they must have intermingled with local populations, right? This would account for blonde hair, green, blue eyes, straight hair, etc., anything not considered "middle eastern", that must be the European genetic influence? So.....conversely wouldn't that mean that many European (esp Germans probably) have some Jewish ancestors too far back to trace? great great great great grandaparents or something? Isn't that statistically necessary?

So most answered something to the effect of having to repent on my last question. Fair enough.

Now my question then is those who existed, before the dawn of christ and sinned and then repented. Were they not forgiven?

If Yes, then how is your situation any different from them, being that Jesus died for your sins.

If No, are we to believe everyone went to hell. since everyone is a sinner.

The Torah prohibits human sacrifice. (Exodus 13:15, Deuteronomy 18:9-12). The Torah prohibits mutilation, and thus torture. This applied to animals (Leviticus 22:22) as well as people. (Leviticus 24:19-22). The Torah prohibits self-mutilation and even tattoos (Leviticus 19:28). So God could not accept the sacrifice of the man Jesus (and before you deny his humanity you should know that is a heresy the church rejected 2000 years ago. Besides, get out your concordance and look it up. The Bible says Jesus was a man). God would not heal us by Jesus’ stripes because God prohibits torture. Jesus did not sacrifice himself because self-mutilation is prohibited, so submitting himself for torture and human sacrifice would be sin.

I don't know why I get asked often, usually when I'm in heavily Jewish areas. So, I'm wondering, I had my genealogy done once and I was only able to trace through my great grandparents (all not Jewish). If my great great grandparents may have been, what is that 1/16?? or great great great? 1/32? is that considered Jewish at all?

I know there are similar base values, but someone told me today that the Hare Krishna's are considered a cult sect of hinduism. Is there any truth in this?

Oh, and please just stick to the religions above in your answer. This is purely an academic curiousity and not a call for conversion or preaching. Thanks!
