Just a thought as all religions cannot be right as they mostly claim only one god. Inknow lots will write and say there is only one true god and that is Jesus etc etc. But that is not the question. The question is - what if you are wrong? Just for a brief moment, contemplate that you may be wrong - people thought the world was flat; they thought the sun rotated round the earth; people thought you would black out if you went above 20mph. They were wrong you could be too. And as i said it is impossible for all of you to be right! So come on imagine, free thinkers unite, open your minds to every possibility. (I know i will get a lot of I am not wrong, there is only one god stuff - but it is worth a try)

I believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God. Personally if it all ends different than what is says in the Bible it does not matter. I will try to live my life like Jesus did and to me that is not bad at all.
I will take that chance.

The truth of the matter is, there is no 100% guarantee that what I believe is the absolute as to what will happen when I die, and I happen to be Christian.

That is why I refuse to criticize ANYONE'S belief, and I try and live my life by treating all people how I would like to be treated.

See, the same thing goes for those who do not believe in God or an Afterlife, what's to say that they are 100% sure that there is no God or an afterlife.

Neither Science nor Religion can conclusively prove either way of the existence or non-existence of God, so where's the real 100% proof? The simple fact is that there is none.

And that's something we all can agree on, or should be able to anyways. The sad thing is that there will always be some who claim to know for sure, but honestly they do not, no matter how well informed they seem to be.

Faith is what we believe, and everyone of us has faith be it in the belief that God doesn't exist or that God does exist.

The only way we will know 100%, is by living our life the best for ourselves and our neighbors (all the billions of them) and wait and see.

This is only my opinion as yours may differ.

Well the Jews and Muslims and Christians all worship the God of Isaac and Abraham, so I think it would be ok if I worship the right God, but wrong prophet.

I hope that isn't too smarmy. :)

Seriously though. The thought has to cross you mind if you are an intellegent person. What if I pick the wrong thing...

The trick in life is that you can't be paralized by opportunity cost. (the truth that once you choose a path the other one is behind you)

If I buy a ford I won't be driving a Chevy.
If I marry Him, I won't know what life with the other would have been like.
I like chocolate, but will I be missing out on praline?

But if you don't make a choice?
Get used to walking...
Get used to being lonely...
No ice cream for you...

Bottom line, I might be wrong, but it is worse to stand on the fence and not chose a side.

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Got it?

Then you have wasted your time! Many times we inherit our family religion and we don't question it. Maybe we should do religious research ahead of time instead of jumping blindly into something that could affect the rest of our life. Life is to be lived but if you believe in a god, try and make sure of who he is and what he truly is about. Not one living person today can say for sure, but if we humans need to worship a god make sure he is the right god so you won't have wasted your whole life for nothing. That would be very depressing. If you were a boxer you would STUDY & PRACTICE so that you wouldn't strike at the air but that you would give a powerful blow to your opponent, thus making your time practicing worth while.

They way I look at it is like this. People go through life doing whatever they choose. I choose to live a life devoted to Christ, so say at the end of it all I am right, I go to heaven forever and the unbeliever is in hell forever. If I am wrong and there is now such thing as God, then were are all dead and in the ground. There is no afterlife, so it's not like we are sitting there after we are dead and going, "oh crap, i made the wrong choice, I should've done this or that" because we are all dead and rotting in the ground. So we all do whatever we want in life. If the christian is right the unbeliever will burn forever and if the unbeliever is right then we both win, because we still both did what we wanted to do with our lives.

I myself have asked that many times, I have even taken bible lectures with different churches and religions and I have come to the conclusion that mostly all these praisers of God want to be the ONE, They disagree and question your believes because does not agree with theirs. I have come to the conclusion that to praise God there is not a right way... but to praise the devil is just one way which is...to stop life and to stop us from spiritual freedom by keeping our minds and heart in eternal confusion and guiltiness. To make us believe a lie as if it were true. Thus I have come to the conclusion that if God had talk to all those religious leaders then God can also talk to me because I'm not less than them and because I want a direct relationship with God. Therefore I meditate, in an attempt to quiet my mind which is loaded with every day experiences, I try to connect, to listen to my Higher Self which will in turn connect me to the Force of God and thus find the answers to my questions.

Here's the problem - the Koran stole (borrowed or whatever) from the Jewish Torah and Christian Doctrine (New Testament)and added little inventions to hijack these two faiths.

BUT THATS NOT ALL! FAR too many people who call themselves Christian are gravely mistaken in separating themselves from the Jews. Christianity at its root is very JEWISH! We who claim to belong to Christ are ADOPTED into the family by Christ Jesus. We are not at all separate from the body - (God's chosen) - because a divided house can not stand.

And Christians who divide themselves apart from Jews reject the root which is Christ and lead the secular world to believe this false concept that Christianity is it's own religion apart from Jews.

And that's all I got to say about that.

You dont give your life to Christianity, you give your life to God(jesus) Christianity is not a relegion, you dont do list of assignments to save You. you Repent, believe and surrender. Dont be deceived- The only reason we are separated from the living God is because we are sinful and God is holy and he cannot associate himself with sin. The punishment for sin is death. But god sent his only son to die in our place granting us evalasting life if we repent and beleive. There is no other name given under heaven whereby we can be saved. The bible ansered all those questions you have above. It told the shape of the earth, it told that people in the future would fly in the sky( planes- speed( real fast). Scientist just discovered that the first thing that came about was light then earth an all there in. in the same order God created them. The fact is God is not human to be wrong, christians dont ask scientist, and humans for answers , they trust in the living word- and the word is god.God gave up is only son because he loved us so much etc. On judgement day you must give an account of your life and if your name is not found written in the book of life you will burn. But now you are alive and today is the day of salvation. the moment you say Lord jesus i beleive in your death and ressurection and i invite you into my life- at that very moment you will cros over from death to life. Then get knowledge of te bible more from a good church of god and get baptised with knowledge. You will receive a comforter called the Holy Spirit( gives your power, convicts you of sin, guides you, make you holy, brings joy etc. You will be amazed when you realize and actually feel aGod convicting and changing you overtime. God loves you. He is at the door knocking so dont harden your heart. God is coming soon and trust me you dont want to be left behind. When he takes his saints scientist will come up with all sorts of explanation for people vanishing- all garbage. The world will be judged soon. The signs of his coming will be marked be greater disasters never experince in the same magnetude before, people will be lovers of themselves, money, cults, etc like never before, but guess what these are just beginning of sorrows. God loves you, he knew you before your mother even decided to have you. may the salvation of Jesus christ come unto you i pray.

dude... wether ur a muslim, christian or jew or follow one of the five 'divine' religions if one looks into it deeper the essence of the teachings is pretty much the same. i.e.
1. one god
2. there are prophets
3. dont lie
4. dont cheat
5. dont kill
6. do unto others what you would expect onto you
7. there is life after death which is ever lasting
8. you will be repayed for your deeds by either being rewarded or punished once your dead (and sometimes in your lifetime too)
etc etc

in the bigger scheme of things they are ultimately preaching the same thing and its a message from the same god. so if you follow the basics to a tee then i dont think you should be too concerned about what happens when you die.
